We've lost yet another exotic to it's own sudden popularity today... I am, of course, referring to the Universal Remote. R.I.P. and may you get a more balancing tweak somewhere down the line. Taken-tots and Iron-Pups won't understand, but the weapon was considered garbage when this all kicked off. Almost as bad as No Land Beyond was considered garbage. It only recently saw it's 15 min. of fame and hate since it was brought back in the April Update. Not to mention the special ammo nerf that swept the crucible. You rarely, if ever, saw anyone use the damn thing, since there were shotguns like the Felwinter's Lie and Matador with Shot Package... and those that didn't have god-roll year 1 shotguns hit the grind out in crucible to get one... however, no one was using Universal remote as a place-holder until they got one. I liked the design of it. It reminded me of the shotgun Leon gets in Resident Evil 2 after finding the weapon parts for it. I used and enjoyed Uni-Mote a few times and it was fun to use..... but holy hell am I inconsistent as fI_Ick with it. It's also a bit punishing to use in PvE due to ammo limitations. (always hate those ammo droughts where you get absolutely nothing from killing enemies) Personally, I prefer auto-rifles... particularly my baby, Hard Light. So sad to see you over-nerfed, Uni-Mote... as is any other nerf in the history of this game. I'll be sure to give you some love in both PvE and PvP for fun, as I always have.
