Clearly you didn't play vanilla destiny. Suros and vex killed just as fast as any cod gun. They were pretty ridiculous. Plus most people have always run shotties, fusions, or snipers making most kills in this game insta kills. It's been pretty similar from the get go. Other that in cod you can't just run around all Match effectively using a shotty.
