Okay look. Most players are teens still living at home with parents, as am I. [b]OUR FAMILY DOESN'T HAVE THE ROUTER ANYWHERE NEAR THE TV I USE FOR GAMING (or near any TV for that matter)[/b], we put it right next to the family desktop computer. I don't know if that's the norm around here, but there's NO WAY we will ever move the router to my TV in the basement. Sorry, but you may get lag from my end (even though I'm always green bar).

Cool. Game wirelessly then, no big deal. I think op was just saying a hardwired connection is optimal and preffered if possible, if not possible, i wouldn't worry about it :)

Yes, that's what I used until I figured out I could move my router to my room. Works great
