Buddy there's a difference with a developer being paid by a publisher and a developer being paid by a consoles publisher you see Activision isn't owned by Playstation reason why COD and many other games are out for both consoles and pc, and we'll when bungee developed Halo it was under Microsoft Studios so Microsoft paid bungie to develop the game and it's license is owned by Microsoft just like Uncharted, Last of Us are developed by Naughty Dog and are paid by Playstation to develop games. But the reason why this is controversial is because Playstation gave money to bungie like Playstation has with other titles so they can get exclusive things, missions, guns, skins, levels, and both copies of the game are the same price. Microsoft bailed bungie out of a lawsuit when their game myth (I think) erased people's hard drives, and bungie would've went bankrupt if Microsoft hadn't stepped in and contracted bungie so those people who bought all the bungie halo titles, when bungie's contract was over those who stayed on Xbox wellll bungie just said to they're loyal fans "thank you for the money but we're gonna jump ship and go to Playstation cause we bent over for them" soo that explains why long time bungie fans on Xbox are pissed because we believed our loyalty would pay off but we forgot about the rule of capitalism, there's no loyalty like loyalty to money.
