The man laughs.
"You have nerve, I'll give you that."
The man stands still.
"Tell you what, if you can beat one of our Legionnaires, we will have counsel with you, woman."

She seems to consider it, then slowly nods. After all, she had nothing to lose.
-
One of the men with the hoods steps up, he seems to be nightly armored. He pulls out a cowboy repeater, and takes aim. He fires a shot.
-
The sound of the gun firing, and bullet whistling in the air, was loud enough for Cassie to pinpoint the new man's position. She ducked, and rolled left, firing both her revolvers at the man. The white revolver's bullets were white, and had some sort of holy attribute to it, while the black revolver's bullets were black and had some sort of demonic attribute.
-
The bullets hit the man's stomach, but it doesn't seem to actually hurt him. He fires twice more.
It actually did hurt him, he just didn't flinch.
-
The sound of her shots still ringing in the air, Cassie did not hear the quiet whistling of the man's two shots. She only heard them just in time to strafe right, although one bullet hit her left hand, forcing to drop the black revolver as she grimaced in pain. She took aim with the white one, firing twice.

The Legionnaire ducks down, but it catches his shoulder. He drops the gun, then pulls out a spear, and throws it.
-
She rolled out of the way, pulling her white longsword from her back as she rolled. When she stood, the blade emitted a holy aura. She used the forward momentum of the roll to begin running at the man, without needing to accelerate from a standstill. She had her sword ready as she ran, her mind picturing the scene, estimating the length until she reached the man.
-
The man pulled out a machete, and ran at her, slashing.
-
She heard his quick footsteps, and stopped moving, lifting her sword to hopefully block what she assumed would be an attack.
-
She did indeed block the attack, opening the man up for an attack.
-
As she felt the machete hit her sword, she aimed a kick at his abdomen.
-
It knocks him back a bit, but he follows up her kick with another slash of his machete.
-
She only barely blocked it, and was unable to completely hold the machete back; it slashed her arm, creating a large, but not too deep cut. She grimaced in pain, thrusting with her sword.

Edited by Dain Is Fren: 8/18/2016 3:04:12 AMThe sword split open the Legionnaire's chest, and blood poured like a waterfall. He fell to the ground, dead. "Well done, woman. Were you a man, you could make a fine addition to the Legion." The distinct figure looked at her.
-
She shrugs, sheathing her sword. She looked a little disturbed by the fact she killed somebody, but did not visibly react. She gestured towards the Legion, pointed at the dojo with her non-wounded hand, then drew a question mark in the dirt with her revolver.

"We seek an... Alliance with the Dojo. We'd rather not have another side to battle in our war against the NCR."
-
She nodded, then shrugged, unsure of what they wanted her to do. After all, nobody in their right mind would give a blind and mute person any power to make decisions.
-
"We only seek passage into the Dojo. We figured we would test the first person we saw."
-
She nodded once more, and motioned them to follow her as she began to move towards the dojo, however she was walking towards a wall, and not the gate.
-
"You are walking towards a wall, Profligate."
-
She stops, her hand reaching out for whatever was in front of her. However, she was still at least two yards from the wall, so no matter how far she reached out, se did not touch anything. Eventually, she lost balance, and fell, face-first.
-
One of the Legionnaires helps her up.
-
She nodded in thanks, and walked closed to the wall. Her hand met it, and she walked towards the gates of the dojo, opening them. She gestures for the Legion to enter.
-
And enter the Legion do. They set across the Dojo courtyard, inspecting it.
-
Cassie sat down in the courtyard, tending to her wounds. She stitched the bullet wound and the machete cut closed, after taking the bullet out with a lot of grimaces, teeth-grits, and opening her mouth as though she were yelling, but no sound coming out. Eventually, she was patched up decently, and she pictured in her mind what the Legionnaires were up to.
