The Monster Of The North
The Dojo lay still, and quiet. The grass swayed in the breeze, and so did the smaller trees. Leaves rustled, and a few people from the village near the Dojo were just able to be heard. It was very nice, and peaceful. Several birds were singing.
This perfect and peaceful harmony was soon shattered by the thud of boots on the ground. Over the horizon was a mass of what looked like people, all dressed in repurposed sports gear, or salvaged bits of Power Armor. Some of them had helmets that only had a hood, and a bandana. Some had just a pair of sunglasses. Some had fox skin helmets on. Fewer had no helmets. Even fewer had metal, plumed helmets. One of the figures stood out, though. He wore metal armor, reminiscent of an ancient Roman soldier's. The only difference was that his armor covered his entire body, not just his legs and chest. The figure also had a unique helmet on, it was a circle, with the features of an angry Roman god, and it was also plumed. The man's metallic armor glinted in the sunlight. The armor had the word 'Legate' painted on the front in red paint. He had a relatively large sword on his back, made of scavenged metal. He also had an overcharged gauss rifle on his back, beside the sword. A scoped hunting revolver lay at his hip, colored red like the rest of the men's armor. He also wore a ballistic fist on one of his hands.
As they approached, bannered men came into view. The flags bore a golden bull with a bent tail, and below that, in golden letters, was printed the words 'Caesar's Legion'. The group grew closer, and they ranked around 100 in size. They approached the main entrance.
"Profligates! Send someone out to negotiate with the mighty weight of Caesar!"
The man in metal armor yelled. He had pronounced 'Caesar' with a hard k sound.
When you really want to do an Isaac VS Legion but you know you'll die so you can't.
Out of the Dojo gates came someone quite...unexpected. "Yo..."Isabelle Haynes spoke, extremely tired and slightly bored. Her turquoise hair was tangled and messy, grey eyes darting towards the Legion, and widening as she saw them all. Only standing at 5'6 and not being muscular at all, she wasn't too intimidating herself... On her back was Perma-Fix, her slug-firing shotgun. And at her side, her submachine gun, her curved sword at her waist as well. Iza was wearing her typical blacks and grey coat with blue highlights, along with an armored vest under the coat. Even then, she didn't like what she was seeing. "So, uh..." She grinned awkwardly.
-
The man stares at her. "Profligate! Have you come to represent the Dojo?"
-
"Profal...Okay. I guess I have, I don't really know." She shrugs.
-
"Why would the 'mighty' Dojo send a woman to do their errands?"
-
"If I answer that question, will you answer why Caesar sent the biggest bunch of wusses I've ever seen to the Dojo?"
-
The man very slowly walked up to her, towering over her at 6'11". "I would watch your tone, Profligate. It's not a smart idea to anger the Legion."
-
"Aww, look at you." Isabelle grinned sickly, her left hand on her submachine gun. "Whatever. Since you're obviously the tough guy here..." Boots could be heard within the Dojo, approaching the gates. Out came a 6'7, muscular, and armored up NCR Ranger. His tattered coat on, his custom armor worn at the moment, his mask's lens glowed bright red as he scanned the Legate. On his back was his massive sniper, the Peacekeeper, and at his side a 500 Magnum revolver. His left hand was covered by a thick metal gauntlet, and he seemed well prepared for something like this... "...Oh god, it's the Boogeyman..." "Shut it, Iza." Isaac stared at the Legate, emotionless. Mostly because he hated the Legion, and the fact that his face was covered by his mask...

Many of the Legionnaires drew their weapons. Brush guns, cowboy repeaters, anti-material rifles, .357 magnums, hunting revolvers, ballistic fists, and machetes were drawn. "Ranger! The Dojo hosts the mark of the bear? What is their reasoning?"
-
Edited by Orn: 8/18/2016 11:36:51 AM"Their "reasoning"? Maybe they aren't in the mood for Legion asshats. Get out of here."
Dude pls reply to this thread
Legate: "You idiots! Sheathe your weapons! This place is a neutral ground!" The Legate turns to the Ranger. "Ranger, I do not care that you are here. We only seek an alliance with the Dojo. Best not to have many more enemies than we need." The Legionnaires sheathe their weapons. "Ranger, the NCR has been wiped from the Mojave. In fact, the Legion has wiped most of the NCR out. Don't make us count you among the fallen."
-
"Yeah, yeah. Last I heard, Alex Wilson was responsible, but oh well."
-
"Do you hold no allegiance to your cause, Ranger?"
-
"I do."
-
"Then why did you not care when I told you the Bear was dying?"
-
"I already knew, jackass."
-
"Watch your tongue, Ranger." The Legate sighs. "Why do you hold such resentment towards my division of the Legion? We no longer take orders from Caesar."
-
Ite, drunk as all hell, walk up to the loud little twat. His standard black cloak is left quite askew, and seems to be on backward. One sandal seems to be missing from his feet. "What are you blabbering on about?"
-
"Why are you dressed like you walked through the Dead Horses' land, Profligate? Are you what the Dojo has to offer?"
-
"I dress how I dress guy. As for that other question, kinda yeah..." He pulls a bottle from seemingly nowhere and takes a sip.
-
"This 'amazing' Dojo would send a drunk to meet with the Legion?"
-
"Uh.. Yeah, that seems to be the situation here. You got a problem with it?"
-
"Yes. Caesar forbade alcohol years ago."1

"He sounds like a pretty big buzzkill. Now why are you and this Kaiser guy doin' here?"
