By Patches', Theresa's and Mortar's Graves sits a new one.
Here lies Midnight. The rogue warrior of redemption
Royal stands over the grave, not looking particularly sad.

"So you're the infamous Ceaser? Wielder of Mortar's sword?"
-
*He sighs* Yes I am. However I do not always use it. I refused to alter it when the Twilight came rolling in, I didn't know how Mortar would feel if I altered it without permission. So I use this. *He unsheathes a four foot long golden colored greatsword. At the base of the blade a platinum colored dragon head, making the blade look like it's tongue*
-
"Noble."
-
Not the correct word. Loyal. I am Loyal to him, even beyond the grave.
-
Royal just kind of watches the man "I see." He turns back to the grave
-
*Caesar does as well* You seem to revere him. What was he like?
-
"It wasn't that great. I didn't respect him as much as one might imagine."
-
Funny how this works, you don't seem to know how much you enjoyed being with someone until they pass.
-
"Midnight turned into an evil cold blooded killer. And he died in rage."
-
Well I take it back then
-
Royal chuckles slightly
-
*Caesar is silent. Cyan passes, looking at the grave and nodding, then glares at Caesar* Caesar: I'm pretty sure that she still doesn't like me
-
"Why not?"
-
Because I wield her brother's blade
-
"That's a good reason."
-
Yeah... I'm trying to redeem myself, I doubt that I ever will... Oh, well.
-
"Why don't you just give her the blade?"
-
I can't. The day after he died the sword was in my room, with a note tied to the hilt saying "You are the other one this blade has bonded with. Use it wisely."
-
"Why the hell did it bond with you when you where who knows where?"
-
Because I was Mortar's most formidable war ally, okay?
-
"Then who the hell attached the note?"
-
I don't know, the name was scribbled out!
-
"Odd"
-
Yes. Odd.
-
"We'll get to the bottom of this."
