Why is Twilight Garrison getting nerfed? Shadestep makes you invisible and invincible for about half a second. For an exotic perk to be nerfed the same way as a more powerful class perk makes no sense. The amount of people who effectively use the Garrison is way less than that of shadestep. As someone who plays the game just because of titan skating (right now due to lack of content) its really annoying to see something that i find fun to use be nerfed in a way that something that is considered "OP" by some people.
Can this "fix" be redacted or adapted in some way to keep the Twilight Garrison a strong exotic chest piece?
TLDR: Shadestep is better than TG, so why did the get the same nerf?

Edited by KaptainKamikaze: 8/6/2016 11:31:42 PMBecause Bungie is stupid. That's it...Nerf nerf nerf is their first middle and last name. You don't see CoD doing 24/7 Nerfs.... I was excited to use Twilight Garrison for my first time, but I was really disappointed when I saw that it was just a single evade every 3 seconds. I looked it up and found out that it was nerfed. Hunters and Warlocks get Blink. We are here with a stupid slow motion hover and a quick, short-distance jump. They have the skills in their skill trees, but our evade skill is only found in Twilight Garrison, which just happened to be nerfed. I wish they'd add it to our Striker skill tree, or even all of the skill trees, to make the game more fair. Really though, it isn't as useless as it sounds. Why would you need to dodge only once in the air every 3 seconds, it would help you once out of 10 near death situations. You guys should watch Hitler Rants about Destiny videos. :) Shotguns are useless now. Sidearms are extremely useless. Pulse rifles are reaaaally overpowered now. I get killed in one or two shots from every single person to use a pulse rifle. My scout rifle headshots take 3+ shots for a kill...How is that even balanced. Auto rifles also need more impact, range, or stability, to make them balanced compared to other weapons. I've had an auto rifle that had like 4x more impact than the gun I was using, and BARELY any less rate of fire, yet it was absolutely useless comparede to high fire rate auto rifles. "Balanced" Pfft >_> Also, our motto expresses how a Titan's fist is better than any gun in battle, yet we can't even one hit kill other players with it. It's so useless. A warlock regenerates health, melee, and grenade from a melee attack. A hunter can go invisible with one. A titan just hits them, and that's it. The only useful Titan melee is Discharge for Strikers and Melting Point...Which don't always kill in one hit. Melting Point is useless in pvp, and Discharge only kills them sometimes, for some reason...Invisiblity, regeneration, quick supers, self-revive, blink, shadestep; other classes have so many perks to make their subclasses fun and awesome if you can use them right, but a Titan is just so plain...I have a Titan main, but my Hunter and Warlock are right next to it in light. My Titan's subclasses are all maxed out and has 311-312 light. My Hunter has 300-302 light, but none of the trees are maxed out, and I already love this class and have more fun with it. I can tell you myself that Shadestep is a lot more useful and fun than the air evade Twilight Garrison gives. My Warlock is behind all of them and barely has any progress, but has 294 light, maybe more now. I'm trying hard to get Blink on any account, as I never experienced it for myself before, but it looks a hell of a lot more awesome than any Titan jump. EDIT: I know this comment is very hard to follow because of the changes of topics, but it's on the topic of "balanced" things in Destiny.
