That is an articulate, erudite and well thought out post.
It's utter nonsense, but we'll written.
No player was promised anything, everyone agreed to the TOS when they used the game, there is no case for bungie to answer. Go read the TOS.

Well, I'd disagree with the idea that "no player was promised anything." The advertisement and selling-point for Destiny back in it's first year, and before, was, "This is a game that players will be able to experience for the next 10 years; our goal is to have a long, long life-cycle that all players will be able to enjoy from start to finish." Not exact wording, but, something quite close to that effect. I'd say they're shorting about 15~% of their community of about 7-ish years, if you take those standards into account.

"will be able to experience" factual statement, you can experience it so long as you have the proper hardware. It does not say "will be able to experience on PS3, PS4, XBOX 360 or XBOX One" Why? because you do not get specific when you don't know what will be available in 10 years.
-
Again you are wrong, the 10 years is a 10 year deal with Activision, not a 10 year game. The majority jumped to that erroneous conclusion because the reading and comprehension skills of this community are very low. Also even if they did say that, which they didn't, everyone can continue to experience the game, if they have the compatible hardware. You are not only wrong about the 10 years, you are ignoring about the TOS, which you clearly haven't refered to. Bungie have never said they would support the PS3 for 10 years, they haven't said they would support the PS4 for ten years, they haven't said destiny will be arround for ten years. You have a right to your opinion, because you have an inherent right to be wrong, which you are.
-
Well youre wrong on that, it was a 10 year deal between Bungie and Activision that was announced, not a 10 year game. But let's for the sake of argument say you were right (your not, but let's pretend) did they say anything about "experience for 10 years on PS3 xbox 360?". Nope, your free to.continue to.exoerience it after September, just in a limited capacity if you stay on last gen, that fits with the TOS. The TOS beats everything, period, we all agreed to it, we're all bound by it. You and everyone else has nothing to complain about
-
You replied to that twice, for some reason.

Oh god if Destiny would be on dead gen for its entire lifecycle... P shit.
