Lower the Mercy Rule Threshold in Control (Maybe Clash)
This will probably be the shortest thread I'll ever write.
We have all been there at some point:
-Bungie's matchmaking thinks you can carry five people against hardcore sweats. You're doing alright but your team is pulling solid .1 k/ds.
-Your team may actually consist of humans holding controllers but for some reason they capture the disadvantageous spawn or try to cap all three, causing spawn madness and everyone is getting a slew of unavoidable deaths as a result.
Everyone who caps A on shores is getting an unhelpful report, even if we initially spawn there
-You spawn in late right after heavy ammo drops, every enemy has full super and you're losing by 6k points.
These are all miserable situations. They're gonna happen it's just a matter of making these situations not literally pulling teeth as you know that unless some absolute miracle happens your team just isn't going to turn it around.
This is what the mercy rule is for. In control I think it procs at a 8-9k point difference. This needs to be brought down to at least 7k but I'd go as far as 5.5-6k just to keep player sanity.
That's it. Just bring it down a little. Make it activate a little more so that we don't have to sit through train wrecks of games with 10 people spawning in, saying nope, and orbiting. Give us our rep and post game rewards and let us move on.
