Bungie,
Burns are fun. We enjoy using primary weapons for them and hope you give us more choices that are relevant to use during various end game content.
Fans,
We hear you. We are listening and have removed all burns from primary weapons that you enjoyed using. We also added a modifier called match game because we want the community to enjoy endgame content as well. Here is a scientific graph that we have taken out of context and misinterpreted supporting our decision for the changes. We are so happy to have a great connection to the community and look forward to keeping destiny fresh and exciting with feedback from our fans.

Of course I will play ROI no matter what they do, but would like a little ROI (return on investment). Another guardian on this forum posted an idea he/she had a few weeks back. It was to include a rare/exotic substance that one could infuse into a few primary weapons allowing the elemental burn. I though this was a great idea. Would love to Void up my Nirwens, or infuse Arc into my Grim Citizen. Make me play something hard to get the material, but don't put it behind a time gate. A pipe dream I am sure but awesome yes.

This is completely correct!

The addition of match game while removing elemental primaries remains one of my biggest complaints with the game... The lack of logic is troubling... I love to raid but without a pre set raid group and lfg,I just don't raid anymore, a big reason being there is nothing to grind for in King's fall... So why go through all the trouble of finding a group to do a raid that is fun, but in no way compares to the vault of glass in respects of the fun of completing the activity, and the rewards given... Match game and trickle just need to go, and bungie needs to rethink what is fun and challenging, as opposed to what is dull and frustrating

Match is tolerable but whoever thought of Trickle needs to be drawn and quartered. Or made to play every single activity with that permanently active until they see just how frickin stupidly bs it is.
