Interesting but the x round perk would make elemental damage types redundant in special and heavy weapons

Am I the only one who's sick of specials and heavies with any burns in the first place? I would honestly love some legendary or exotic specials/heavies that are kinetic damage, like 90% if primaries.
-
Dude the only primary with elemental damage to date is the zhalo supercell afaik, may be if the elemental damage where more evident like in borderlands it may be more enjoyable
-
Well, if you considered the history of the game, a large number of primaries had burns. All of VoG's primaries, all of Crota's, even PoE's original Primaries had burn variants. Then you have Exotics like the Vex and Necrocasm, and now the super cell. Sure, not a super large list and yeah, most aren't relevant now, but the point stands. Most primaries are kinetic, but why are ALL special and heavies past blue elemental? Why not kinetics? I'd use them even in Burn modifier missions, it might make them feel difficult and not painfully easy you know?

you mean stacking the elemental damage or replacing it like in the Susanoo?

-
Mmmmm...I think that might not be "adequate", how about, if the weapon is kinetic then grants the elemental damage for x amount of time, if its from the same elemental type it stacks and if it is not it just enhance a little damage, just to keep it some what...balanced?
-
That'd be cool actually. Susanoo is pretty fun, if I could use a warlock perk to add that to other weapons, that'd be pretty sweet honestly.

The point is not to invalidate the "x burn" modifiers from daily playlists
