This whole "anti shaming" culture we've developed is ridiculous. BUNGIE needs a stockade at the front and centre of the tower with latest offender on display.
Or better yet, ban them and leave their carcass on the moon with a plaque naming and shaming until the day the servers shut down.
Maybe I'm just getting old, but I can remember a time when people were expected to take responsibility for their actions. Now we make excuses for them.

This is the participation trophy, special snowflake era. Can't hurt those feelingz.....
-
Agreed. Where do I sign????
-
But Bungie will protect them and the OP will probably get banned. It's the most backwards ass logic ever.
-
Blizzard posted the names of all the people they banned for modding on overwatch
-
The main issue with name and shaming is it only leads to innocent people getting harassed. No good comes from it.
-
It only leads to that... wow that's dumb.

They shamed farmers that weren't even changing the game codes, the least no-fungie could do is shame those that do
-
No. Their cheating arses do not get to sit on the splendor that is the moon. They will fit in very well on the Dreadnaught and we can see them when we're forced to go there for patrol bounties. The moon was once a bastion of research and a man hopping point into the cosmos. It will not be disgraced in this way
-
Well said dude , If they re doing this shit , they must take responsibility
-
And you can thank bleeding heart pussy libs for this new culture we live in.

Lol always that one guy

As much as a mountain of banned guardian corpses amuses me, I don't think the hive would like it very much.

Edited by Zeldasavvy64: 6/26/2016 12:15:50 AMThe hive also didn't appreciate us destroying their government officials ,but oh well...

i understand why they don't allow it but they should have a specific tool that allows you to send names to bungie if there is no way to report them i.e. if they aren't on postgame carnage since both the in game and website reporting tools require postgame carnage
-
Best advice I have seen all year. Won't see stuff this good from developers. Cause if bungie shut down the cheating they wouldn't have enough players left....
-
Lol. I've been playing since beta but I've only finally started enjoying PVP the last couple of Iron Banners. The game has been plagued with invincible, teleporting, 1 hitters since the beginning. It is getting better. I just think that, rather than reactive measures, BUNGIE would have a proactive/preventative effect if people actually saw the consequences with their own eyes.
-
No, it's only gotten worse over time.
-
Hmm, maybe I've just gotten better... well thank you for making my day!
-
Don't take this the wrong way but SBMM is probably helping you find good games.

Bubble burst. :( Lol

Watched a streamer last evening. Just wanted to see how the big time players play. He was drinking heavily and carrying folks to the lighthouse. They got to the big match. They were going to win. Only to have one of the other team hit the lag switch hard. He could snipe him over and over to do nothing to him. Then two of his team were booted to orbit to loose them the match. In other words they were completely cheated out of the lighthouse. His play was simply spamming the raid sniper. Chase special ammo crates and body shot with a sniper for the most part. All in all showed me that trials is a three alarm joke. Just one of many such incidents I am sure. Just unreal to watch it happen. Some times we don't think this stuff really goes on. I picked up playing pvp during the house of wolves to be honest. At least in terms of something more than an exotic bounty. I love it now but Bungie as you said needs to do what many other games already have done and come down hard hard hard on cheating or they are going to loose their players.
