I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.
Again I apologize,
A SLIGHTLY bitchy hunter

Nerf Shoulder charge and we will all switch to Juggernaut and run at you with an over sheild and a shotgun. Nerf Juggernaut and we will just Fist of Havoc you instead. Nerf that and everyone switches to defender with No back ups magnet grenades and shotguns. Nerf all that and eventually we will be shooting marshmallows and throwing sponges at each other with our rock em bopper gloves on so we cant punch or slap each other too hard. Basically what im saying is stop nerfing everything cause you died.

Edited by mayo68: 6/23/2016 11:02:54 PMI wouldn't worry much. Bungie has said it in print today..."when one class becomes the default choice for anyone who wants to do well in the crucible, WE see that as a problem". So by that illogical logic, Titans will be nerfed next. It's like a guy that builds a race car, only making changes that HE (being WE from the previous statement) feels are needed. See where I am going with this? The guy DRIVING the car is the one qualified to suggest the changes...HE is the guy doing the driving. This is a logical approach to making changes in the system, and if your statistics confirm what the driver is telling you...a change is needed. Until these guys get off their high horses, this will be the pattern, WE the player, will be made to observe. I say this in defense of my Bladedancer, because the changes were based in the opposite order. The numbers say do it, so WE at bungie will change it, completely ignoring the fact that the drivers have not noticed anything is wrong. Not to mention that by bunnies logic, everything will eventually get nerfed at some point and then buffed at a later date to make it more "balanced" again...STUPID!
-
I bet that before rise of iron or with rise of iron Voidwalker will be nerfed and Warlock melee range will be nerfed as well. (Both are fine and balanced, but they will still get nerfed.)
-
I'm not bitching and crying for more nerfs, I just want my tripmine back. 😔 I think the complaints rising about Strikers are simply due to the fact that they haven't been nerfed yet. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) else has so it's just irritating.
-
Funnily enough strikers are more or less the same since launch. Apart from the grenade nerf. I think it's just a less used class because hunter and warlocks seems to be the classes to use in PvP.
-
Hmm.... Reminds me of sunsingers and my Mida when all of you were bitching. You will never please everyone and there will always be that one guy who's a crying bitch. How many bitched and moaned about Mida year one? The snipers in year one? He burn in year one? How about the arcbolt grenade in year one? That all changed didn't it? Wtf would you defend something that has been the same since year one and have other shit nerfed? Sit the f**k down and don't be a hypocrite. Don't speak for everyone and think that you're the voice of everyone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and let them be. I for one play the game as it comes to me. The only thing I get salty about is "why change it now if it's been the same way since release" .... Other crap has been the same and then later nerfed. It's an ongoing circle. Stfu and don't speak for everyone.
-
Well, as its competitors get worse, it gets better. Bungie also balances things based on popularity, even if they don't actually need a nerf.
-
Edited by tidus_0893: 6/23/2016 9:03:04 PMBecause people are biased towards their favorite class. I, for instance, was dismayed at the GG nerf. After that nerf, of course I was finding other classes to be even more annoying than usual. Now that I've gotten used to my situation, crucible is looking the same as it always does: sniping, sniping, and more sniping. Nothing really changed hahaha. They really shouldn't mess with shoulder charge, just like they shouldn't have messed with throwing knives.
-
Don't worry. The other classes are still mad because they're subclasses got nerfed
-
Edited by cuzzybubba1: 6/23/2016 9:12:42 PM****edit - holy crap can't believe the rage about wanting a Titan nerf.
-
More importantly, Titan's lightning grenades are a problem. Bungie nerf things based on popularity. How is trip mine op than lightning nade? How was arc bolt op than firebolt in year one? Bungie's incompetence to truly analyze a problem is op. Lightning grenade-Not only it has a vertical range, it has a cone shaped radius with crazy range.
-
Nerfherders in general are -blam!-ing this game, it was fine when nerfs were justified to stuff that really was op. Now things are called "op" because something else was made useless or said whatever was untouched.
-
Striker is fine. It was a middle-end subclass, and as far as I know it still is. The really strong ones were Nightstalker, Sunsinger, and possibly Stormcaller. Those all got nerfs and Strikers didn't, so they're closer to the top now, but I don't think they're OP.
-
MIDA syndrome
-
Because half the game is whiney hunters that get caught hardscoping and get their teeth knee'd down their throats!
-
First, Shoulder Charge won't get nerfed until all of the Titans using it suddenly start going positive consistently...which won't happen. Second, if they do nerf it then you will see more Juggernaut Titans which IMO is much stronger than SC. The community has just not caught on to it yet.
-
Hey, i think most nerfs are bullshit. I don't have a good arminus let alone a doctrine, i hardly ever use my hunter and getting killed by warlocks never really pissed me off. Thing i see about destiny is that at its core it's a PvE game. Now what they did was try to walk that back and somehow make pvp competitive. I'm an old guy and never really played any pvp game before destiny but i'm fairly sure that this would never truly be a competitive game. It can't be unless they nulled all stats when you went into pvp. I did actually play halo 2 online way way back and remember everyone had the same guns so you couldn't bitch if you got killed. Now something like that, a more simplistic game type, seems to be something you would want to play if you wanted true competition. That's my uneducated guess on it.
-
Shoulder charge has no cool-down, and is often activated as a mode of transportation (that kills anyone next to them). It is spammed around corners. Yet blink was given a cool-down, you know the jump nobody uses anymore since it was nerfed to the ground.
-
Seeing anyone with courtesy and sense on these forums is like spotting a unicorn... Thank you Guardian. You are a diamond in the rough.
-
Because now a ton of little kids run around and get cheap shoulder charge kills
-
At what point will we have completed a full nerf circle? After striker nerf?
-
good job sir.
-
Technically, we've been complaining about SC and FoH since launch just so you know
-
You know my Universal remote always solves that shoulder charge issue.
-
Because assholes of this community have nothing else go bitch about.
-
You may apologize for your fellow hunters, but never say "we" when you're not participating. I am dutch, but it's not WE that sold those thousands of slaves 300 years ago. They did. Not me.
