I love the game too mate. I probably spent more money than I should have on Silver, but not nearly as much as you.....not even like 1/16th as much as you. I have around 1500 hours but I played other shit in between. I quit for 4 months after crota come out, then 2 months after HoW came out. I quit during TTK around January, started playing a little bit more during Crimson Doubles, stopped for about a month and a half for the Division, played a couple raids and trials, stopped again for UC4, stopped again for Overwatch.
It's good to quit this game for a little while here and there. It makes you appreciate how much you enjoy playing it whenever you haven't played it for a month or two. I've been playing a lot more since the April Update, but it still doesn't catch my attention as much as it did right when it came out and right when TTK dropped. Some of the best games I played that took me away from this were Bloodborne, Dying Light, UC4, The Division (Even though I was a bit disappointed with this one) and Overwatch. Until Dawn is a great game too.
Don't burn yourself out on it too much. Now I just mainly get on the weekends for Trials. Now that it isn't on this weekend, I might go bsck to paying some Dying Light and Overwatch
