its becoming or actually has become apparent that snipers are the dominant weapon for PVP use in events such as trials, iron banner, elimination, and even holiday events.
its even become a main in PVE which is kinda lame as well diversity would be appreciated
so lets talk there is three things that i believe need to be addressed on snipers most people keep avoiding or rather shoving under the rug.....
1) sniper flinch when shot and sniper recoil
2) sniper body shots and switching to primary for an easy kill
3) sniper accuracy while in the air or while moving(not so much strafing as much as fast twitchy movements)
Q: i'll start with one and we can touch 2, and 3 later. so here is the question what is the punishment for a sniper that is out in the open, shooting you, while you blast him in the face with bullets, grenades, etc......
A: the answer is a small amount of vertical flinch that can easily be adjusted for on the fly

so why is this ok? whats the draw back for these kinds of instances? and what can we do to make this more rewarding to shoot back rather than try and shift slightly out of the line of sight(which in most cases you cant......)
EDIT 1:
a partial beginning to a solution on snipers
sniper balancing
1.) snipers receive more recoil while being hit from any angle
2.) snipers become de-scoped after receiving 20-25% damage
input and discussion on this suggestion is welcome!
otherwise change nothing else do you agree?
i open this discussion to the community please keep it clean and orderly.....please

I Talk about 1 here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/199400042 Key points: Despite the changes that they being made, sniping will remain a low risk activity. With any other weapon, if 2 players of equal skill come together, usually the one who can maintain the accurate shots, usually precision, with either win or have the enemy try to flee. That doesn't currently happen against a sniper. You can drill them in the head Even with Mida and by the third shot, which would normally kill them, they headshot you because they know how to work the mechanic and are not afraid of your headshots. This has created a risk imbalance in sniping that needs to be addressed. The flinch mechanic is so poorly designed that it not only doesn't flinch enough but it also re-centers itself to where you were aiming. The means that it can be timed to return to center to maintain your shot. Uhh....broken. De-scope on precision has also men mentioned a lot. I do like this idea and after some time to think about it I would say that 2 consecutive headshots, not necessarily from the same shooter, should de-scope a sniper. 2 I don't think is a problem. It's a valid tactic. 3, I've spoken out about many times. There needs to be an accuracy penalty while moving.
