Personally I've always enjoyed the countdown timer of Halo Multiplayer when starting a game or respawning.

The charge-up sound Excalibur makes in Ace Combat: Zero before it fires. Really conveys a sense of menace and power and makes you wish your plane was just a little bit faster.

Edited by Brotheon, Bodular Mind: 4/12/2016 10:45:33 AMStar wars cause it has neat music and the lasers sounds just take you back to when you was a kid watching the movies like damn these are neat Also the lightweight nasty popping splattery noise when ya blow somebody's head to pieces in gears is oddly satisfying

Edited by Tartan 118: 4/12/2016 10:23:01 AMOh lawdy... Icebreaker Hawkmoon So many effects from Halo (especially 4, the audio design on that was beautiful)... MA5B firing on full auto, sounds like a cartoon character running on the spot. A lot of stuff from Myst and Riven... 'Welcome to the Circus of Values!' Security SFX from BioShock There's probably a shitload others.

The gooey explosion of insta-gibbing somebody in Unreal Tournament.

Calling in a titan in titanfall. Just hearing the sound of it coming down and hitting the ground. Then grabbing a poor little pilot out of his and throwing him across the map like you're Aaron Rodgers.
-
That sound that activates when you parry an enemy in Bloodborne In Bioshock Infinite, after killing the last enemy after an intense firefight, the sound that marks the end of the sequence You'll know what I mean when you hear them...

Edited by Jotaro Kujo PhD: 4/11/2016 9:03:01 PMThe M6D magnum sound is godly, as is the BR55 sound. Powerful-sounding guns have really been lacking in Halo for a while.
