Hum :D Do you know what is a DLC ? Yeah I guess. So tell me what is the difference with this update ? :D please please :D
-
The update is mandatory. A dlc isn't, (just like the dark below and house of wolves and even the taken king) Without those expansions, the game is still playable. Without that update Your not playing anything but a loading screen baby

This. This sentence is directly from the update people. Read it.

Edited by jlemale_fr: 3/18/2016 7:59:10 PMIt's still a DLC :D

Well technically this shitty thread of yours is DLC. It's content downloaded. Off the internet even! DLC in reference by regular human beings does not mean the loosest interpretation available.
-
Just tell me what is the difference between a DLC by your standards and the update of April ?
-
DLC is a separate piece of content, free or paid, that is an addendum to the base game. An update is a requirement that falls in line with general housekeeping and finishing out the base game (or in this case TTK). This new strike is fulfilling the promises made about TTK according to what Bungie has said earlier. Much like Street Fighter 5's story mode, it's not being given for free, it is completing the game already purchased. It is a requirement to log in. It is not an optional piece of content. Unlike DLC, free or purchasable, I am not getting something extra. I am getting what was promised with the original purchase. I do not go to the store to opt in to this content, it is forced upon me, much like the past updates that took away the old level 28 weekly heroics and nightfalls.

Thank you, people just can't comprehend things correctly.

They never it wasn't a DLC ? And even if Deej was saying it's not a DLC I would explain him why he's wrong... ^^
