IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

3 RepliesHonestly. I'm to the point where I've never hated a community so much. Taking my love for this game aside, I wish Bungie would cancel the new update. Cancel all further updates. And cancel the sequel. This shitty community doesn't deserve any of it. Pull the plug on the whole franchise, and watch people grovel and beg for clones like The Division from now on.

So dlc usually means new content. Not old content reskinned. Basically you're telling me there's no more new content in year 2 of destiny. We got the taken king and thats it, for new content. In year 1, we got the dark below, and house of wolves. Then again those two were just cut vanilla content that was supposed to be in the game, which was sold to us as if it was new. Fascinating. Decreasing pace of new content. Yeah, bungie is doing just fine, TOTALLY not slowing down or in trouble. It's not like they just fired someone from upper management. Oh wait...

not really free when you figure in the fact that all dlc from destiny were cut from the original game. So basically we've paid for everything until now.

Not a desticle just using common sense. For the people that say you purchased TTK and HoW and should have recieved updated "Taken PoE" on release and it is not free... I want to know where in house of wolves or taken king it says that you can fight taken guardians in PoE or be taken PoE guardians. All that we speculate is that PoE is being reused but with new gear and stuff to earn. Hell, it doesnt even say that in the weekly update , were all just speculating. Can bungie do better? Of course, but then again i am not a game developer, plus with all the setbacks when the original story got cut, they are literally making this as we go along, or maybe they can be fooling us idk. Its not like PoE was a raid in the first place, its an arena, anything can happen. And this is just speculation , we can be all wrong and PoE isnt even going to be reused. Its like buying a regular hot dog then saying , "hey but that one has bacon and ranch, i paid for the hotdog why cant i get the bacon?".

I appreciate what they are doing. Im just hoping they don't totally screw it up like they did when POE launched. Such a good and long lasting game type, that they just flopped on because of laziness. Add some random modifiers, change up the end boss. Whatever. That's why I'm reserved about all this and not jumping on the hype or screw it all train.
