IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

First off I am happy that we are finally getting it. But this is all stuff we already own and making us pay for it would be insanely ridiculous. Also they should've done this five damn months ago.

8 RepliesHalf a year for a -blam!-in reskined DLC. Wow just the shit show I expected. There's no more hope for this game. They don't care about their player base if they did we would be getting the best DLC possible. But that hasn't happened yet, will continue to get lackluster content cause we accept it.

I'm fine with what they've done I'll wait and see though. And on another note it's not free,we already paid for it last year. Gotta be careful using the word free in this instance cause we have been waiting for a looong time to use said free update,it's the epicenter to alot of the salt on the forums. If we paid for it and it's included why make us wait so long? I speculate they have quickly put something together to appease the masses based on imput from the community and have the nerve to say it was included

This is just like the buying emotes ordeal. If we keep buying emotes and supporting the money grabby moves they do. They will continue to do it. I'm not saying this is a bad thing but it just seems like another rushed things to keep us occupied and out of their hair until the next expansion. But we can wait until the stream and see what's there.

I like it and I am looking forward to it however it's not free DLC. It's a continuation of TTK story which was paid for already. Companies, understandably, don't give things away for free. Staggered release prolongs life.
