Is it ethical to pay your way to flawless (or raid)?

So I got done playing Trials when I found out the enemies played for Guns of Destiny, a boosting service I found as an ad on DestinyLFG (.com), advertising they can get anyone Rank 5 in IB, which isn't that hard if you get a group of friends (or LFGers). SO I decided to dig around, when I found they charged $85 for a flawless trials passage or your money back. Not only that, but they also service IB (when it's around), and the raid, complete with challenge modes. This brings up the question of the title, as there is a fine line between pay to win and being "balanced". Just some food for thought. TL:DR: Should you want to pay $300+ for 3 complete characters? EDIT: I do not plan to do this. I plan to save up for more important things. Like Fallout 4 because relavence.

 • Eh, it has always been a thing in games. Usually that's done with in game currency but since there's no trading in Destiny... I never paid for a carry in any game be it FF14 or Destiny, and don't plan to do so. I feel like if one can't pull their own weight they don't deserve a reward. But in the end it's everyone's own decision.
Even though I have to say, paying 15M gil in FF14 for a raid carry isn't as ridiculously dumb as paying $85 for a Destiny carry.
