The way you've worded your second paragraph is like it was never possible before. The only difference is now there's a reason to do it.

And the sudden change making such a trick viable is the concern. What will cause the meta to shift into Thorn? If you ask me, waiting to find out is not worth it. The gun needs to be further nerfed, before Trials and IB go back to the Y1 meta.
