I message everybody who special ammo cheats just so I can have a list for later and then report them via the "Beware the Banhammer" article when I have nothing to do.
Sad part is: It's an easy fix. All they need is a few lines of code, in the section of crucible, I'll put up a hasty picture of how it could be.

How are the cheating. They're using a weapon that has a special function in game. It gives them a leg up on the competition, wither get with it or shut up.

I think the point is that Bungie removed this feature (spawning with special ammo) for a reason. Obviously there are players who are talented with sniping. Bungie wanted to make it more enjoyable for those that lack that talent and make it more competitive. If a player has been using an Icebreaker in Y2 before this update then by all means go for it. But we all know the reality of it. Shame on Bungie for not nerfing the Icebreaker to the point where it isn't a viable option. On another note, did anyone verify if a Ghally rocket can stagger Oryx? I for one have never been the type to cheese a raid, whats the point? its FUN to play the game the way it was intended to be played. Just my 2 cents.....

You definitely have a point. When me and a buddy were doing crimson doubles we went in with shotguns and what ever primary we wanted. How ever quiet a few matches we were paired against icebreakers, and yes it was disheartening, but it's now a viable weapon for the regen of ammo. It's sad to see people exploit a simple mechanic of the game for some stupid reason, but it's what ever. As for the gally and oryx I'd love to know that too. I know datto did up to the war priest with fatebringer and gally. Said it was really difficult and stopped after I think 8 hours and a wipe at the war priest.

Lmao You have to be dead for it to not take away your ammo when you switch because when you are alive and you switch weapons you lose all that ammo. Sounds legit.
