Ice Breaker exploit in Trials is for SCRUBS.
DON'T FRONT, NO ONE WAS USING IT IN TRIALS A WEEK AGO NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A VIABLE OPTION? NO, IT'S BECAUSE THEY TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS SPECIAL AMMO.
If you're doing this you're pathetic.
It happened in my first game of Trials this weekend. All 3 had Icebreakers then switched to their 1000 yards later. The game's been changed for a reason, play it the way it's meant to be played now.
Go ahead and disagree. I won't care. You ladyboys always gotta find an exploit to get cheap kills instead of playing the game right. If you NEED sniper ammo that bad to get a kill then there's more wrong with you than just being a coward in a fake fight.

if you use icebreaker and use it for all the matches i don't mind, but using it and swapping really is for scrubs. if you're using a y2 way of making ammo i don't mind sidearm or invective away then. [spoiler]i use sidearms a few rounds myself until i know what's better for the opposing team snipers or shotguns[/spoiler]

3 RepliesSo people are using a gun's perk to get an advantage in a competitive setting, I don't see that as a problem. Yes, it totally circumvents Bungie's intention with special ammo but that's on Bungie for creating this sniper meta. They should have nerfed special weapons (and heavies) some other way like making it so that your radar disappears while you have it out and takes 5 seconds to come back when you switch to a primary.

8 RepliesWow... So I am not a trials player.. at all. I suck at it. I still have my trusty Icebreaker and use it for giggles occasionally in control. But.... this is a pathetic tactic. People really can't win without special? How sad.
