Ice Breaker exploit in Trials is for SCRUBS.
DON'T FRONT, NO ONE WAS USING IT IN TRIALS A WEEK AGO NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT'S A VIABLE OPTION? NO, IT'S BECAUSE THEY TOOK YOUR PRECIOUS SPECIAL AMMO.
If you're doing this you're pathetic.
It happened in my first game of Trials this weekend. All 3 had Icebreakers then switched to their 1000 yards later. The game's been changed for a reason, play it the way it's meant to be played now.
Go ahead and disagree. I won't care. You ladyboys always gotta find an exploit to get cheap kills instead of playing the game right. If you NEED sniper ammo that bad to get a kill then there's more wrong with you than just being a coward in a fake fight.

The gun functions the same as it always has. It's Bungie's fault for not realizing this would happen. It's the best Y1 secondary.

If it's patched See you next week when you come to complain about a primary being op. Maybe it's not people you play being cheap. Maybe it's you.... You can call people scrub all you want for playing to win if it makes you feel better, I don't think they will care much.

They probably thought of the IB and sidearm issue before the patch was made. If they didn't fix it before the release then they won't in my opinion . As it would be basically making 1 weapon not an exotic and also making a special weapon type not work as intended. If they wanted to fix the trials properly then I think they should make it so either you can only have 1 exotic equipped all together for your character. Or no exotics at all. That would fix the biggest issue since I'm sure alot of people still enjoy having fast revive over having a under powered gun in trials.

I use icebreaker but i use it during the game and a legendary primary (shadow price or praydeths timepiece)

If it were an exploit or a glitch it would be addressed. Notice how the Sleeper Simulant glitch was fixed from when it first came out. Have you ever used the "glitch" in PvE? It's come in handy a few times.

1 ReplyThey should do with ice breaker in pvp what they did with invective. First ammo doesn't spawn until first crate drops. I called this happening ages ago. Didn't think it'd be so prominent... it's sad that people have no other ways of winning.

17 RepliesUsing something that generates special ammo when special ammo was PURPOSELY removed in the beginning, then switching your secondary upon death is literally trying to exploit. If you defend this, you are brain dead as fućk. This is like people defending pre nerf Final Round snipers. "WELL IT'S JUST A PERK AND IT'S WORKING AS INTENDED." As that person fires off every until the Final Round is left in the sniper. This community is HORRIBLE. They will literally exploit anything they possibly can, for as long as they possible can. Do you guys not think that Bungie is going to do something about this ? How fućking stupid are you to not see that this is a loophole to try and get around in game mechanics ? "We want a hardcore more competitive pvp for Destiny !" Well it's not going to fućking happen when you have people exploiting the mechanics that Bungie is trying to put into place. Get your heads out of your asses. Learn to use primaries. It's not as hard as you think. Maybe this community is just horrible at the game and have to constantly rely on exploits to boost their stats and egos.

Bad players will always do absolutely everything they can to win. With primaries like TLW and MIDA, I don't need sniper ammo in round one to be OP as hell.

It's a simple fix tbh. Once a trials match starts, whatever gear you have on is what you must play the entire match with. You can still switch around during the loading scree to try and combat what the opponent has on and what not, but once that match starts that's it.

1 ReplyYup. It should be: A: You choose your loadout at the start of the match. You can't switch for the whole match. B: If you switch, ammo goes back to 0, no matter if you're alive, dead or in between rounds.
