I only recently upgraded to ps4 so i know how much it sucks to still not have one, however i think the time has come that no game will be released for ps3 and x360 anymore. People are already talking about ps5 coming in 2019 and i would really like to play Destiny (and other games) on full potential before i have to buy a new console again.

No. Unless they want to get slammed by every new release on Xbox one/ps4. I hate 3ps but the division graphics and looks are spectacular. Makes Destiny show its age.

As much as it would piss off the people who only she last gen, I think it should be left behind... Once last gen is dropped, a lot more can be done with current and future games... God I'm looking forward to full dive virtual reality...
-
No way. Where did you hear they were doing Destiny 2 on last gen??? Must have been twitter or something because it isn't in the news feed. They're wasting time and money by continuing this series on last gen. Its just another example, if true, of Bungie being stubborn and not living in the real world. If I'm not mistaken Xbox 360 support ends sometime in 2017 so its just plain dumb to continue down the last gen path.

Im still on ps3 and if they did then they can kiss their all ready crumbling reputation goodbye. In order to make destiny 2 the best it can possibly be both story and gameplay wise they will need all the power of the ps4 and xbox one and unfortunately the last gen consoles just can't keep up with them, im fine with staying on ps3 until i can get the job i want so that i can buy everything i need with my own money and not my parents.
-
nope, they are dead
-
-
From a business standpoint, yes.
-
No it shouldn't. Now before the hate comes I am not a console elitist like so many other gamers, I believe this for destiny 2's sake. So many features from destiny were cut just so that it could be on past and current consoles, and that hurt destiny big time. In order for the game to have more content (such as larger exploration spaces) it needs to go next-gen only. While it would suck for those who are stuck on PS3 and Xbox 360, I think that it would do destiny a world of good.
-
No. Progression is needed. Less platforms means less extra work. Less work means more focus.
-
If you haven't bought a next gen console by this time, just quit.
-
As a PS3 player that can't quite afford a PS4 (yet), I'd say no. Let's see what Bungie's able to do without big hardware limitations. Last gen consoles are old, but a lot of people still play on them. It might not be an easy decision.
-
Absolutely not. It's time to move on, especially considering before we know it the next gen is going to hit us. Switch now or be left in the dust. Sorry everyone:/

Edited by Wowbagger: 2/12/2016 1:24:06 PMin 2017 very few gamers will still only have a last gen console. Hence Activision will in no way shape or form be supporting last gen. When Bungie start the Destiny Two hype train they will make it very clear it is this gen only as that will be a good selling point.

Edited by Poopcycle6: 2/12/2016 1:24:18 PMAtari 500 too. Edit: No No No -blam!-ing no. Thats just stupid.

-blam!- No

This is like a pro life pro choice thing. If everyone answering here was on last gen the would be "pro last gen" if they are new gen they would most likely be "pro new gen". You can even add the "Ive never met a pro last gen who was on a new gen".
-
Yes including Nintendo
-
Not if it will result in limitations on the PS4/Xbox One versions of the game.
-
Yeah, but if you wanna deal with the shitty graphics instead of buying a new gen console.. Than that's on you.
-
It won't. Simple.
-
Absolutly No
