I apologize.
I made a decision to avoid posting topics whose humor is derived from the reaction of the replies, not from content of the topic itself. Obviously this topic was treading on that line and not many people could see it was satirical. Therefore many angry replies were had despite it being tagged #satire. But rather than leave the thread up with a disclaimer, I feel it's better to take it down. So...sorry.

Let's save time and just all be tattooed with barcodes, like Agent 47. That way, every entertainment system scans us and only lets us view the entertainment it approves. And easy enough to adapt that to entertainment or information that the Powers That Be approve. And then, that information can be used for the greater good. Watch a video on YouTube that states that a person has the right to own an assault rifle, or that it's stupid to give welfare to illegal aliens, or "marriage" is one man and one woman? Well, let's report you to your superiors at work, so that you lose your job as punishment for not espousing the "correct" view. People aren't responsible enough to live in a free country, right?
