Who has the feeling that the Sunbreaker is really lackluster compared to other Subclasses after the HUGE nerf they got?
I rarely see any Sunbreakers in PvP and I played Trials all weekend long and only saw ONE godamn Titan that used the Sunbreaker. Even I, someone who loves the Sunbreaker have to force myself to use Striker in Trials to be competitive. And when I decide to use Sunbreaker in Trials my fireteam look at me like I'm suicidal, and I cant blame them because Sunbreaker is really bad right now, hammers are inconsistent and the neutral game is shit. Even the guys at PlanetDestiny, who once saw the Sunbreaker as an immortal God think that it is too weak in its current state. I even made a video about this.
So sign here if you want Bungie to buff the Sunbreaker a little so its in line with other subclasses and tell how they should buff them (bigger blast radius? Or better neutral game? Or...?)

Edited by R0meo4125: 2/9/2016 2:01:13 PMIl tell you a couple of times where sunbreaker has failed me: 3v3 trials last round: I activate sunbreaker and aim right and enemies heads. I throw the hammers but all of em missed even though I had tracking on. 3v3 skirmish: I had my super activated for a while and got a kill already, next guy I find is a titan, I throw a hammer point blank at him and he did not die, instead it took him 2 seconds to realize that I was near him and proceeds to fist of havoc. This has happened many times. Hey a bladedancer, pop super, gets hit, I die. Other than that, Hammers are my favorite super but just underpowered.

Edited by AMC_07: 2/9/2016 2:07:49 PMSunbreakers still do great damage in PvE and you can still get great multi kills with it in PvP. If they should fix anything, they need to fix the proximity detonation as it will detonate outside of the blast radius occasionally.

Edited by Malicious203FLK: 2/9/2016 2:20:52 PMSigned -Revert the nerf on blast radius and tracking back to 2.0 -Add DoT to thermite grenades -Fix hit detection on Suncharge

It is relevant though. It still kills me easily even if I roll and around to dodge the hammers.

Edited by Hawpy: 2/9/2016 2:13:44 PMIf there's any one subclass in need of a buff, it's Voidwalker - it was never relevant; Nova Bomb is inferior to FoH in pretty much every way for PvP and severely lacking in PvE damage; it has the most inconsistent grenades; some subclass perks are entirely useless (I'm looking at you, Angry Magic). It has good melees, like all other subclasses (except for Soul Rip being strictly worse than Amplify, Life Steal being worse than Transfusion and Surge being made worthless by reload speed gauntlets and a decent Agility stat) Nothing Manacles were nerfed to being useless Skull of Dire Ahamkara was always worthless and isn't even in the loot table, despite being in the blueprint vendor. Obsidian Mind makes Voidwalker viable in PvE, without it, you're better off with Sunsinger or Stormcaller by a mile The Ram's extra armour is barely noticeable now, at least when it was "broken", it countered every crutch Still no Warlock Exotic Boots (and I got 3 Exotic Boot Engrams yesterday)

If they'd fix the pre detonation it would be so much better and give the dot back warlocks he crazy dot why not Titans?

The solution is simple: replace the Hammer of Sol with a command strike from the Hammer of Dawn. Hear me out. The Hammer of Sol is fun, but has taken a huge hit. You toss your hammers and wonder why the aoe didn't neutralize your target. Or maybe you use the guidance system that was reduced, so it feels like those hammers are wizzing past whatever you threw them at. Your armor has been stripped, your power broken; you need to remind the other classes that you are the warrior that they will never understand. So instead, we should use the real hammer. Technically, the Hammer of Dawn is limit by its inability to work indoors. However, beast mode clearly displays that the Hammer can bypass any barrier with shear brute force, allowing it to be effective in doors (this thing destroys cities, so it can go through more than a few wooden planks). Once your super is active, you'll get 6 seconds to highlight as many targets as possible (or up to six strikes in a single target) before granting them mercifully quick demise. The actual number of strikes called down and accuracy are in the air, as you'll never know if it will comply with your commands or which targets will be hit. They'll also have the chance to escape, but won't know they've been highlighted until the targeting beams converge around them. All caught in the initial aoe are vaporized instantly. Any survivors, such as a boss, will continue to receive damage for the brief time the Hammer is active. Feel the power of the C.O.G.
Can you feel it, Mr. Krabs?
Still relevant

I agree it needs to be fixed, but some of you act like it's unusable. It just takes more skill to use. I still see sunbreakers average 3-4 kills per super, wiping out entire areas. I'm terrible with the class and I still manage to get around 3.

Sunbreaker is fine, you just suck
-
Sun breakers are fine. You actually have to aim now to get kills, and you can't throw hammers the speed of light. Other then that its pretty much the same
-
Bump. I agree.
-
Sunbreakers are fine. Shove your petition up your anus.
-
Just delete all Titans, that way everyone can be a hunter or warlock.
-
I totaly agree i used to use sunbraker and i loved them but now i am useing defender and striker i havent used sunbreaker in a long time because i would get killed instanly from a shotgun or a golden gun or a sniper the attack damage is fine leave that but increase defence or give them an oversheald or something to stop us from getting insta killed and looseing our super

Only if warlocks can fire 6 nova bombs at once

The problem with sunbreakers is titan is the least played class in pvp, so when it arrived and it was OP, the non titans gave out about it, which was the vast majority. Now that it needs to be buffed there's not enough titans to be heard so it's not going to happen unfortunately. On launch it was OP, definitely needed an armour nerf, possibly a small AOE nerf but not to the extent of what the AOE is now, nothing else should've been touched but it was and it's pretty poor right now. doesn't matter to me really, i'm striker 95% of the time in PVP but it was nice to be able to switch over every now and then.
-
I can live with being Nerfed into the ground as long as my Hammers kill on direct impact Post nerf requires a bit more timing and skill to land Hammers and its frustrating to have a direct hit land and not have it kill.
-
sunbreaker is still very revivent....striker has alys been best in pvp. every titan knows that

Signed. But this post is getting tons of hate.
-
I dont understand how the sunbreakers ISN'T o.p.
-
Is this a joke? Please tell me this is a joke.
-
I think what the OP is trying to say is he can't barrel into a team of six and kill them all without taking damage anymore - and he doesn't like that.
-
Perhaps a slight increase in all categories. You guys remember the primal fear you had when that hammer sounded off? I miss that. It was a challenge, either you die or they do. This is coming from a Warlock main. Sunbreakers were fun to play against and even more fun to kill. Bring back the fear bungie.
