The reason being, everything else has been nerfed. And the range is pretty insane, the speed is WAY TOO HIGH, etc

Landfall blinding (ITS NOT EVEN IN THE PERKS DESCRIPTION) and its ability to pop a Titan bubble need to go. If not, it should leave you with 75% super energy to compensate for its ridiculousness and the blinding should be given to FoH.

Edited by Oriondeadstar: 2/3/2016 6:03:22 AMNo, Buff nova bomb. Lol I used nova bomb againat a stormcaller activation and he didnt even lose half his shield.
-
To be honest, I don't have a problem with Stormcallers in any of this but a single perk that can be obtained in it's skill tree or via exotic armor; Landfall. Look up it's capabilities, I don't really have to mention it.
-
Funny thing is that IB is gone and now there arnt a bunch of threads complaining about storm caller.

someone hit OP with the shusher
I enjoy how people make these kind of posts about Warlocks since Sunbreaker got nerfed. It's as though people go to Crucible and get obliterated by another subclass, then come here to bitch. If Warlocks are so easy to use, lets go ahead and give OG Bladedancer back to the community, or how about OG Sunbreaker? You wouldn't be hearing shit about Warlocks if those two were back in their prime, because Warlocks wouldn't be able to compete. I'm not going to say that you don't have a right to communicate your opinion, sure that's fine and dandy. But do some research before you get your panties in a twist. The supers alone that I mentioned were MUCH worse than any Warlock subclass now, mainly because they were broken as shit and were the true easy mode. Warlocks have been the exact same since day one, nothing has changed except the things around them. Call nerfs on something that deserves it, or better yet, call for buffs instead. Now that my little rant is over, I'm gonna leave these here. -Titans have fusion and magnetic grenades. -Hunters have arcbolt and flux grenades. -Hunters also have Blink. -Res-sniping exists. -Throwing knives can be just as effective as both a firebolt grenade and a VERY ranged melee if used right. -You can have two knives without sacrificing the burning effect of either, or having to equip an exotic to bypass that. -Shoulder Charge (if combined with the ever so popular Peregrine Greaves) can one-shot a roaming Super. It can also normally one shot every guardian. And you can get health back via Transfusion, if I'm not mistaken. -You can kill a Stormtrance user with shotgun-melee, sniper headshot, or a super. (Fist of Havoc and Golden Gun are the most notable.)
Just gonna leave my previous argument here, not gonna type it again. Do what you will with that information.

On the topic of transcendence, let me put it this way. As an aggressive warlock I generally use my melee and grenades quite often in close range. In order to get that transcendence, I don't get to use those things. My neutral game becomes complete shit, and I am forced to either accept defeat in a close quarters situation, or use my melee charge and reduce my super time. I cannot tell you how often my super finishes charging but I wait 30 seconds for my melee to recharge. This perk has a trade off, which is good. I could see a very slight, possibly 2 second reduction being fine, but if the perk was nerfed by enough, I would be mad that I decimate my neutral game for nothing, and would probably end up just not running that perk. I don't know about you, but this perk seems to be balanced, however you may not think so, which is ok. I would, however, suggest that rather than shouting for nerfs and complaining about things, you research what makes things good and think of ways that they could be brought in line, which would be helpful to the community, and make it much less toxic, however I am sure nothing will ever truly make these forums not just a cesspool of hatred and calls for nerfs

My only complaint about it is the ridiculous wandering time. If I can be killed on the enemy side of the map and then respawn and get killed by it again because he's made it into the spawn still charged, that's a bit OP. I hope when Bungie does one of their weekends where they play against the community that they run into a whole team of stormcallers. That's the only thing I'd fix. Decrease the amount of time you can cruise around the map.
-
I agree tbh But a headshot with the 1k takes them down swift

You forgot the satire tag.

If storm caller gets nerfed, then void walker better get a buff similar to the strikers absurdly awesome buff. This message brought to you by a year one warlock.
-
Ya no. Stormcaller is so easy to kill lol.
-
Wouldn't a more fun solution be buff other things back up?
-
Within the last 5 minutes I popped my storm caller on heavy and one hammer sent me packing. No it doesn't need to be nerfed. You just have to catch him or her quick or from a distance as a group. Almost any of the other supers can shut one down.
-
Gr8 m8. First ineffective squeaky hammers, now this? Are you gonna whine and complain until Bungie gives stormcallers "silly string" or "noodles" for lightning?!?
-
Just the time I'm which it's active. It's long as shat. Today I was killed 3 times by the same dude in 1 stormtrance. That's a little stupid.

Bungo pls nerf this man

I'm no doctor but clearly you have a severe case of being a hormonal bitch, if you take a right you'll see a tampon dispenser. I'd advise you use it, your bloody nerfs are disgusting.

Just nerf the Transcendence perk. That's it.
