In economic terms, supply and demand due generally determine value. The fallacy lies in assuming that economic value is the same thing as morality. Basing what is right and wrong in a society purely on capitalism is just wrong in so many ways. Screw the widows and orphans, they don't contribute to the economy so should be left to starve.

Nowhere do I assume that economic value is equal to morality. Those are apples and oranges. Supply and demand doesn't determine the morality of of an action, say -blam!-. You sir are guilty of a logical fallacy by pushing forth this straw-man assuming that I equate value to morality, when there is no evidence indicating that whatsoever.
