It's annoying right now because it's popular, because while its good, it's not OP. Trust me, I've played since Day One, and I know way too much about annoying metas...

Anyways, at close range it can be beaten by just about anything if your aim is sound, at mid range it can be beaten by a pulse rifle, and at long range it can be beaten by snipers and other scout rifles (such as the NL-shadow). I'm not saying this idealistically: there is never a guarantee that you'll win a gunfight with the Mida, whereas the with Last -blam!-ing Word, there is at least some cushion.
What's also true is that the gun has the highest aim assist stat in the game, high caliber rounds, a damn fine magazine, a good sight, hair trigger (which complements people like me who use a modded controller), and a +6 or 8 agility buff. This sounds extraneous, but when you consider the fact that it actually seems exotic, and that it's still balanced (just not with all the other weapons being shitty), I really don't see how you would like to alter this.

The high caliber rounds make it win some of those mid and extended close range gun fights and i think there should be a trade off of either high reload or large mag not both so the gun takes more skill and your shots matter

Edited by GingerlyWalnut3: 1/26/2016 12:52:06 PMIn fairness, any weapon with HCR will stagger you, but it should only really bother you if you use a pulse rifle (idk why, pulse rifles just seem really vulnerable to the Mida) or a low aim assistance sniper. You can also spam the trigger and hope that some bullets land. It's part of why the Mida is such a versatile weapon, and I don't think that's unbalanced.
