This is destiny lol, if it took loads of skill the crucible would be a very different place, guns having lots of aim assist, primaries not being what people primarily use, lag holding the best k/d in the world. Don't get me wrong there's those God players that can solo trials and have like 90% wins but for the rest of the community they use whatever you tubers have proclaimed the best gun, or whatever people see those trials players use while streaming. The meta wouldn't feel so broken if everyone didn't band wagon, I understand why they do but what fun is it to have your weapons picked out for you? I use toy weapons in crucible like grasp, timepiece, water star when I want a good laugh, my NL shadow beats the shit out of mida so I blow the dust off that gun once and a while when the whole enemy team is using the meta weapons. People just want their k/d's to say I matter here but if bungie removed the ability to keep track of k/d I'm sure it wouldn't be as big a problem. Guns like thorn are still broken, last word needs a buff and a change not any more nerfs. We need our year one guns back, the list of shit they need to do solely around the guns is quite extensive and that won't change so just go into crucible with your favourite weapon and learn to not give a shit, sad that's the best answer right now but bungie doesn't update the meta nearly fast enough for it to start healing
