After seeing more comments, bungie is damned if they do, damned if they don't. Even if it is just for IB, Bungie is making the change back to CBMM like yall asked for, yet people still aren't satisfied and making comments like 'i don't believe them', 'i bet it sucks', etc. lol just damn.
Also, some of yall have a very pessimistic attitude about things, and then you wonder why you aren't happy/don't enjoy shit.

They have lied to us on at least three occasions, this is why people are skeptical at the moment. Factor in the dislike of Rift as a game mode for IB ( I am not arguing for or against here, although it is not something I would play) and it does seem as though they are attempting to get people to play Rift. Sorry if this sounds cynical.

Please list these times they have lied to us. Did they actually say one thing and do another, or did people run with something they read/heard about, applied it to Bungie, and when it didnt become true, say they lied? I'm genuinely asking because i've seen the latter more than the former. When rift first debuted, people liked it. The dislike for rift came after people realized it wasnt something you could excel at as a lone wolf, an attitude that is very popular in destiny. You have to work together as a team. Of course teams that are made of clan members, people in the same chat party, etc. have an advantage over solo players, but if the solo players work together, they have a chance to win. But like i said, lone wolfing is more popular, so when a team of solo players started losing, they would just leave the match. It's the same thing that happened in IB originally, hence the reason Bungie put incentives to stay and finish the matches (the exp tokens you get when you lose that are redeemed when you win). Anyway, they dont need to get people to play rift. This is just them using other game modes for IB, something the community has asked for, and shows that bungie does listen. Yet people are still running with the 'they dont listen to use' false narrative because it's not what they want, smh. You're fine, nothing to be sorry about. I understand what you're saying. My post was more a reflection of my thoughts about what i see in society as a whole, not just on these boards. No matter what anyone does, people seem to never be satisfied, they always find something negative to say, and dont show any appreciation for anything. Just a very negative attitude.

Edited by GooglyEyedDog: 1/26/2016 6:41:24 PMWhen the game was Data mined people found microtransactions in the code. Bungie told people that this was something that they had considered but had dismissed, there were no plans to introduce microtransactions they just been left in the code. We now have Everse Trading. The auto rifle percentage buff fiasco, which people still mock on these forums. When people noticed that the match making in crucible had altered and asked whether SBMM had been introduced Bungie denied that there had been any change. It wasn't until the forums exploded that they finally admitted that it had been introduced without telling anyone. I love Destiny, I have had a great time playing the game, I love IB, didn't even mind Clash , but I am also dismayed when Bungie keep shooting themselves in the foot by their lack of transparency and what appears to be disrespect for their player base. The sad part is that I think people generally only complain when they are heavily invested in something so what seems like constant salt is really an attempt to make improvements. Edit, I really hope that things turn around, it is easy for a developer to lose trust and very difficult for them to get it back. Only time will tell
