Indeed I will. I don't even know what rift is anyway. I just want that chest piece at a decent light level. And the ps cloack if RNGesus loves me enough.
See you there guardian!

Edited by StinkySphynxStir: 1/23/2016 4:13:19 PMDo a search on youtube for Destiny Rift. The first one I watched yesterday was about 2 minutes and it became pretty damned clear on what the objective is. Almost a deadly game of "keep away" (not really, but that's how I picture it in my strange head). In a bit more detail than was explained to me yesterday... Picture the start of a basketball game. The ref. throws the ball up in the air and both teams fight for it when it comes down (the spark in the middle of the arena). The guy with the ball (spark) runs to the goal (Rift) ,while his teammates defend him. If the runner makes it to the goal, he slam dunks the spark and it ignites. If he doesn't make it before getting killed, both teams converge on the middle again while waiting for the 'ball to be thrown in the air' again. I haven't seen it yet, but my understanding is that if you are running backwards when you ignite the rift, you do a cute little back flip or something.

Thanks mate! You explained it very clearly! RIFT 101!

:) One of the parts I like is that the runner still has use of his weapons. At least the primary. I'm not sure about special or heavy weapons (I would assume yes). No super, but at least he can still defend himself if/when necessary.
