Reforge cut UNLEVELED promo weapon light from 300 to 160!
Today, I received the 300-light weapon from the postmaster for the fireteam promo quest. It was a 300-light Sawtooth Oscillator with bad perks. I went to infuse it into one of my current good weapons, but it wouldn't recognize it. I then opened the weapon and noticed I could reforge it, so I did, trying to salvage it to be something usable. However, reforging cut the light from 300 to 160! WTF?!
Also... If it wouldn't recognize for infusion, was it really 300 light to begin with?
What happened and how can this be fixed?!

4 RepliesDid the same thing just now pretty pissed why let it even reforge thanks for the half ass attempt at a prize, quickly just bump and old weapon up to 300 and give it out at least you could have removed the reforge button first thanks bungie

1 ReplySaw tooth oscillator is a year one weapon so it is unlikely to have been 300 max is 160 and year one weapons are can not be infused

1 Replyyes...it also gave you new perks. you get the pleasure of leveling it up again. When you go to reforge it tells you that it will reset the stats
