we know for a fact that people who are 318+ are skilled and people below 310 are not skilled.
Few things wrong with this statement:
1. PvE requires little to no skill given how shallow the combat is. It's the same enemies with more health that have the same attacks that you can avoid.
2. I've swapped from playing my hunter to my warlock, my hunter has 310- light and my warlock has even less. Light isn't an indicator of skill, it means you got lucky in a raid. I have more respect for people who have Trials/IB than I do for the elitist scum of the earth that think they're hard because they can stand in one spot and shoot a bullet sponge for 15 minutes.
3. You're drawing a large contradiction. Saying you're not an elitist, then saying that everyone with a lower light level is not skilled? Alright.
TL;DR- OP is fgt and elitist scum, thinks he's big for having raid gear and everyone below him is apparently nonskilled.
OP should do some crucible with me to see if a 290+ top 1% warlock can do some damage to him :-)

Both of you are wrong, why? The CHANCE that a higher light lvl player has done the raid more often is higher as someone who is a of a lower light lvl. Like you said. Same enemies with same attacks. So one that has been more often in the raid is more experienced with these attacks and does know where to stand. So i have to slightly agree with opp. Light lvl is not skill based but experienced based (mostly, or you got some pretty good loot in the few raids you ran). Opp is saying skilled players, yet he means experienced raiders. You want to challange him in a crucible game. But pve isnt pvp. A good pvp player can suck at a raid because he doesnt know where to stand and what to do. Those 2 things are entirely different. Im not good at pvp but are skilled at pve. Why? Because pve is all about repeating the same thing over again and im good at that thing. Pvp is to adapt to other players and not cpu. A whole lot harder, but opp wants good pve players. Not pvp.

310 light, zero raid attempts, no srl and will probably 310+ next iron banner. This just goes back to October/ November 2014 where unless you were 30 light you were a scrub according to the elitist morons!

Or they could have levelled up with Srl?

Edited by Denders-NL: 1/20/2016 11:40:17 AMYeah forgot about that. But you can check out if he has raid gear. You can infuse your raid gear with racing gear but than you have to check his completions. But i think that the most people wouldnt try to fake you in this way.

My husband has a higher level than me because of Srl. I've done the raid a few times more than he has, he's just dropped better than me and did Srl.

But that is a comparison between 2 people. The chance you have a more experienced raider when you invite a higher light level is Major.

Yeah I'm way better than him ;) hehe
