Nightmare looks out over the windswept desert. He is flanked by a group of Fear mongers on both sides. Before him an Atean ship has just landed, it is a small vessel but it will suffice. The strike is swift and sudden. His darkness engulfs the ship and the Atea are dead within minutes. He looks up at the sky. [i]Again, I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.[/i] The ship is later seen leaving the planet.

Nothing happens and he feels himself slipping from consciousness. [b]"My mind is deadly."[/b]

"SHUT UPPPPPP!" [b]he keeps hacking away at the different things in his mind[/b]

The things just reform and he then finds himself back outside, his neck in Nightmare's hand. [b]"You are an annoyance!"[/b] He squeezes hard.

"Ya know what man? I forgive you....."

[b]"And I don't particularly care."[/b] He squeezes even harder.

"TARA! Your a bit late!" [b]he looks at his leg[/b] "Eh.. I've felt worse..."

"He's just toying with you! You have to run!" A portal appears nearby. [b]"No!"[/b]

[b]since teleportation is locked, Shepard throws a high-explosive grenade in nightmares face, sending him flying through the portal at the cost of his eye[/b]

Nightmare just frowns and rushes the portal but it closes to fast. [b][i][u]ARGHHHHHH![/u][/i][/b] Tara is waiting. "Are you OK?"

[b]he lays on his back, gives a "I'm pretty sure I'm in shock" laugh and passes out[/b]

She takes him to the medbay.

[b]he wakes up just a few moments later, still missing an eye and arm.[/b] "Oh god.... Where aaaam I? Don't tell me...." [b]he looks around, realizing it's the avalons medbay[/b] "NO! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO!" [b]he tries to curse, only to have his voice moderated by an automated voice similar to his[/b]

"Calm down, you're in shock."

[b]he notices Tara and calms down[/b] "W-what did he do to you...."

She looks confused. "What do you mean?"

"W-WHERES NIGHTMARE.... I... I NEED TO FIGHT HIM..."

"No! He will kill you!"

"I... I need to kill him."

"I have a plan, you just have to trust me."
