First time I participated it took me to Thursday for 1 character, but I'm shit in pvp and I had very limited time, idk how this guy isn't rank 5 yet

I had all 3 rank 5 on Thursday. Don't know why this guy had trouble. Buuut everyone has there reasons I suppose.

Alot of people dont play until closer to reset to make it faster. For the people who used that strategy they got screwed.

I got all 3 to lvl 5 by Saturday and still got screwed due to the crap rewards and crappier drops.

Drops are going to be lower light anyway. If you thought they would all be 300+ you are mistaken

My level 5 packages contained 1 ghost and 2 chest pieces, all lower than the gear I already have. Bungie says drops are the primary method of getting gear... I guess someone there didn't get the memo. Giant waste of time.

My 3 packages netted me 1 pair of 315 boots and 2 fusion rifles, I do believe they nerfed the drop rate of IB legendaries post match rewards though. But I cannot complain because after an entire day of grinding IB on Monday on my last game I did receive a "God roll" shotgun and that's alllllll I cared about getting this IB. The vendor helmets were damn good too depending on your build too.

By like day 5 of IB it takes like three hours max to get rank 5

Exactly. I played only three days of IB on one character. I was rank 5 without even the slightest bit of effort.

And dude after you hit rank 5 on one char the next 2 rank up soooo fast I have 2 completed weekly bounties on 2 chars I didn't even need to turn in...

This is the truth. It took me about 2.5 days to max my first guy. I didn't play again until Sunday around 10a. I had two other guys up to L5 by around 3:00 pm. I'm also an old man with terrible reflexes. If I can do it, anyone can.
