Quirks are not to be confused with traits and interests. Traits are general behaviors that make up your personality. Interests are things like your love for animals or your taste in music. Quirks, however, are small nuances of your personality that others can find endearing or peculiar or annoying or whatever. Things that make you unique.

I like all the light switches on the same panel to face the same direction, so at night, before I'll go to bed, I'll walk through the house setting them all to the same position then walking back through the house in the dark so as to not disturb " the balance". Something about hearing people ask, "The usual?" makes me happy so every time I go to a specific location for a chain restaurant I order the same thing. If I want something different I'll go to a different location.
