While I was fucking around in Sandtrap, I decided to see if I could see the name of the Friget. Turns out it's Aegis Fate. I searched up the meaning of "aegis" and it means protective.
I texted my oldest brother the picture zoomed in with a sniper rifle of the friget with the name.
He sent me this link after some digging around in halo. Bungie.net: http://halo.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=56703396&postRepeater1-p=1#56704151
Here's a basic summary of it(from my brother)
The friget (Fate) was in in the escaped Reach. And took part in the fight along side with Forward onto Dawn, the attack on installation 00 (Ark) and was shot down. Summary of what I've read. N Well... the Ark is Forerunner tech. So I wouldn't be so fast to blow off the Guardian idea.
As an explanation on the last part, I was doing stupid shit and got killed by the mines. Said "Killed by the Guardians" I told him about and the last part of the text was his response on this new thing I found.
As the link said, Aegis Fate could be seen shooting the Forerunner ship after Master Chief takes down all anti air turrets on Earth. Haven't seen this myself yet but plan to.
Any ideas?

Rundown of it's involvement in Halo 3: -Fired MAC rounds at the Forerunner Dreadnought in the cutscene after the Gun tower is destroyed. -Docked inside the Shadow of Intent's Hangar Bay with Forward Unto Dawn prior to the battle of Installation 00 -Presumably worked to supply UNSC/Elite ground forces on the Ark -Evacuated with all other ships before the firing of Installation 04A.
