"Well that's one way of saying it... For example, just a few hours ago, I felt some sort of need to go out and find Zaaria, like she was in danger and I somehow knew it. I also can't quite shake the lingering feeling of Aries within me. It's almost like I can tell where he is, and when he gets angry. And for some other bizarre reason, I'm getting some sort of feeling from Lake-- interesting..."
Switch's eyes narrowed and he looked straight into Erik's eyes.
"... Odd. The moment I mentioned Lake, your emotional state just changed a bit... Erik?"

"It's nothing. I'm just worried about a new Dark Guardian, that's all."
-
"Wait... What? Dark guardian? What are you talking about?"
-
"Lake was corrupted."
-
"What?! How did--?!" "The bite..."
-
"Relatively sure it was Hunger, yeah. And I kinda set him off."
-
"I was gonna say... I have a small element of Aries' hunger within myself actually. Got it when I was trying to purge his wounds. Until you tackled me off him... Remember that?"
-
He cleared his throat. "Yeah..."

-
"Yes, I have a sister. Abby."
-
"Right... You see? That's what I'm talking about. I didn't even know that and yet I somehow I found out without soo much as a single question"
-
"That's...a little creepy." Erik couldn't help but feel slightly attracted to Switch's power.
-
"Sure is. Anyway, you said I needed to learn restraint. Back at the city, remember?"
-
"Oh, uh, yeah. That." He stepped closer to him. "I hope you don't have a temper."
-
"I do. But not towards you, even if you were partly responsible for Lake's corruption..."
-
He threw a punch into Switch's stomach.
-
Switch wasn't expecting the punch at all. With much of his armour still torn, broken, or missing from his fight with Aries, his stomach took the full brunt of the punch, sending him flying back to the floor. "Agh! What was that for?!"
-
"Being a dirty Dark Guardian!" He kicked him.
-
He took the kick, but this time he was more prepared for the impact, composing himself quickly after. "Heh. Look who's talking"
-
"At least I can control it. And I'm not tainted with Aries' Darkness." Erik hated doing this, but it was for his own good.
-
"Then teach me how to control it too!"
-
"You have to learn yourself!" He picked him up by the collar of his armor.
-
"Fine!" At that instant, a dark explosion burst from thin air between Switch and Erik. It sent both of them flying back away from each other.
-
He skidded across the ground and lay still.
-
Switch collided against a stone wall, causing it to crack slightly on impact. Falling to the floor, he felt dizzy and dazed.
-
Erik still didn't move.
