Where... Where did we go wrong?
50,000 years after the events surrounding the birthing pains of the Imperium of Man the last flotilla traverses the vastness of space in search of a new home. Its sights set on their Galaxy's neighbor, far away from the never ending War in the milky way.
How humanity had fallen from its self proclaimed Holy War. The betrayal felt by all as men turned on each other over the worship of chaos gods after nearly exterminating all other life. Entire star systems were wrought dry to fuel humanities war lust. Monstrous war machines left to float the void on their destruction. But here stood a glimmer of hope.
The flotilla at last reached it's sanctuary. It reached its new home.
It reached Andromeda.

With a Vengeance. Celestia meditated in her expanse, pondering on her exchange with the Knight. The Knight... he was so much more than she expected. She had made him a promise. And Justice would be served. "Ragnarok. I summon Thee. Crimes must be punished." The avenging angel manifested himself before the Queen. "My liege... what crimes transpire..." "Genocide is only punisheable by death. Justice must be served." "So shall it be..." And so, the Avenging Angel headed for the Milky Way, to the Warp. Beware, Horrors of Chaos. Justice will always prevail.

Edited by Shadlezz: 1/2/2016 2:47:38 PMA chance at peace. Malleo Awoke in a royal suite of the Celestial Embassy. It seemed his vision had taken longer than he thought, seeing as he had spent an entire night inside. The binary star of the Gaïa system shone brightly through the window of the room. Gaia System Schism: Open Rebellion? Brimstone Logs
I geuss I should have seen this coming. The split in the Mechanicus that formed after Kents return. I only hoped it hadn't escalated this fast. To think I was just telling the Preator we would always adapt. But brooding on the situation doesn't solve the one at hand. It sounds like the traitors have holed up in the Mechanicus ship, The Cog, but as to to whom or where I do not know. We will deploy... I don't know where to deploy the ships landing bays are sealed and weapons primed to prevent any large scale assault. Probably will using boarding torpedos to insert small teams but that is still risky. And then there are my visions that grow by the night, there is no record of this warp being in their halls. No real mention of such rapid evolution in their animals. But why is it haunting me so...
The flag ship was alive with action as deck officers relayed projections and orders throughout the order lies of the ship. Being the most battle worthy of the fleet it was no surprise it would bear the duty of launching the assault. Boarding torpedoes were prepped for launch and weapons at the ready should The Cog miraculously gain the power to fire her weapons. The mission was clear, liberate The Cog . But nothing is always so fine cut. The Cog is a technological treasure chest shrouded in secrecy. A shroud that currently was skewed in open rebellion to be take by anyone able.
open

You will be launched to the Cog by a boarding torpedo afterwards you are able to loot, explore and try to regain the cog.
Built on Gaïa's northern continent's shoreline, the town was constructed with a mouth of land accessing the vast ocean. This unnamed city would be the first, the last and massive citadel constructed on the protectorate of Gaïa. The New Human Republic was founded.
open. Edited by EvoTymes: 12/28/2015 7:17:42 PMThe ship was quiet and peaceful, other than the occasional sound of doors opening, people walking and the soft murmurs of voices speaking. Everything seemed normal, and space seemed clear, nothing to worry about and nothing to report. The radar was clear and kept on sweeping the area around the ship. But all of a sudden a faint green dot showed, indicating a single life force. Looking out of the window they could see a large ship broken and shot down. Pieces of the ship scattered everywhere drifting around the empty dead space.
Open, go investigate
Schism: The Errant Returns Brimstone Log
With the return of the Magos Errant I have come to realize the schism growing within the Mechanicus. Many amoung them believe with a new begining to our species means the new beginning of a new Mechanicus. We Have the Old Mechanicus. The highest rankings and the most experienced. They cling to the old ways like a parasite. Denying innovation in all aspects. The New Mechanicus, so similar to the old and yet they are different. They cling to the old beliefs of the Omnisiah and yet... They embrace inovation within reason. After Kent cam aboard the technology of the fleet has rose to heights unimaginable. Yet I have not heard or seen any evidence of them turning to the ways of the dark mechanicus. I find this worry some and will continue my moderation of the fleet. I pray it is only my paranoia.
Kent stands at the main flight deck of the Flag ship after he and his followers were kicked of the Mechanicus vessel and branded as Hereteks. And yet Brimstone had granted them sanctuary aboard his own ship. Seeing that the main hanger was even repurposed to fit the needs of the new mechanicus. And yet still Kent stood above them all feeling a sense of accomplishment, waiting to share his knowledge of these new sciences.

The Sun showered the meadow with light. Wind blew gently through the air and through the many different flowers. The Lonely Knight strolled through the beauty, thinking to himself: Sights such as these no longer exist near Terra. The grey knight had journeyed far from his home. All alone with strangers everywhere. In the distance lied an outpost that housed members of the Celestial Guard. Malleo Castitate was on his way towards it, but certainly took his time admiring the scenery. (Open to Storm)

Brimstone Archives
I can feel it. The navigators won't accept the reality but is here staring us the face. We have not escaped the minions of Chaos. But the question is what facet watches us. It lacks the subtleness of Slannesh and yet not as abuse of Khorne. Neither is it as distinguished as nurgle or obscure as Tzneetch. Is it possible with this new galaxy there is also new powers of the warp. The very thought sends chills down my spine. I fear there are precious few that are as connected to the warp as us. Their technology surpasses the need of psyker or warp travel. Is it possible that in our flight we have inadvertently unleashed an unimaginable evil on our saviors? I have asked for audience in a few days time. I can only pray that they accept us to their fold lest we fall as a species.
It's been years since the Inquisition sent Malleo Castitate to Andromeda. He's spent years searching the unexplored galaxy for any signs of Chaos. Malleo had long since forgotten what the presence of a brother felt like. He had recently touched down on a large Asteroid in the middle of a small belt. This asteroid had a foul feeling. As Malleo continued to walk amongst it, a hellish Daemonic incursion into realspace exploded right before him. He jumped back as hellish daemons began to pour out of the incursion. The daemons were of disgusting and horrific forms; centipedes with sharp claws, worms with thousands of teeth, goblin-like minions... Malleo raised his left fist and fired several shots with his storm bolter at the horde of hell. He then shouted the blessed chant of the Grey Knights; "I am the Hammer! The right hand of the Emperor, the instrument of His will, the gauntlet about His fist, the tip of His spear, and the edge of His sword!" With every emphasis in the chant Malleo struck a deadly blow with his Nemesis Halberd into the incursion. It struck fear into the daemonic minions, but they continued to press forward. They were confident that they would eventually triumph over the Lonely Knight. (Open)

"Captain's log, star date 443218.9 Alpha. The predicted arrival of the human refugees has proceeded accordingly, and the clearance has been granted for their colony. Construction tugs have arrived to built the Beacon, while the Helios has been tasked with defending this entrance to the Quadrant. Although my father has met these human beings before, he never spoke much of them, especially of their resemblance with us. I am preparing to head for the surface and proceed with the inspection." Captain Munro exited his ready room, walking to the bridge. Now was the perfect time for anyone of the new arrivals to contact him before his landing on Gaia.
open
Edited by DGC LemanRuss: 12/17/2015 6:47:16 PMGaia System: Discovering Sanctuary "Run it again." Asked the shadowed figure. All nonessential lights and systems were ordered offline after the cyrotubes were sealed. The existing crew began slowly dimming them on to avoid any retinal damage from living lifetimes in the dark. All of that was changing one small system on the edge of andromeda. "Sir the readings are precise. No sentient life and matches the Terrian Standard to the letter. She's a virgin Terra." The Tech priest droned through his vox caster. The dull metalic unit matched his personality and outlook on life in general . "Shall I prepare the city builders?" "I was told that those barbaric machines were left behind in the advent of the journey!" "Those barbaric machines layed the foundations of many cities across the Milky Way. By what right should I deny the passage of the Omnisiah's chosen machines to the new stage of humanity." "By right of honor! By the oaths you broke by bringing them with us! By the lies and decit you instituted to hide these things from my eyes!" "And when we have no equipment to rebuild roads or refineries what do we do my lord." The pitch changing in the vox unit showing his agitation. "Are we to fuel our ships on the void alone? Fill your stomachs with stone? The omnisiah sent us these machines by his will alone. I will not sit idle while such blessings are left to rust in the hands of those that know only war!" "You understand my feelings on such machines Tech Priest." The shadow growled. "We agreed at the advent of this undertaking that I wanted to be as unintrusive as possible on these planets." "I understand my lord. I will return to my ship to research into converting the machine spirits into more... unintrusive methodology. I cannot garuntee how they will take to the ideology." "By your leave." Brimestone watched as the tech priest leave with distrust in his heart. If such a close advisor lied to him about the true intentions of his journey how many others had as well. Would they all turn this galaxy to war as well? Had he condemned another galaxy to ceaseless warfare and turmoil? Pushing such dark thoughts he sent a message to the rest of the fleet. Gaia System: Science has its Demands Several Tech Priests on the mechanicus ship bustled to life as they were were releases from their extended time in stasis. Several were advanced to the rank of Core Minds, finally achieving the highest rank available, by becoming one with the data mind of the ship. But now so more than ever the work of the Omnisiah was in great demand. Several Tech Priests were unable to work, augmentation failing to the extended time in stasis. Same for many servators. And those where only the problems of the few. Several ships had incurred damage over the voyage. Machine spirits strained to the point of excess trying to keep life support on for so long without care. Very few ships had more than life support, not one could survive another warp jump. Then there was Brimstones orders on the city builders. Massive land movers ordered to stand down and modified to be less intusive to Gaias landscape and more symbiotic.
