Hmm.... What to get, what to get?
Elias stood in front of his favorite food vendor, Charlie's Frankfurts.
The man, presumably Charlie, looked rather annoyed at his uncertainty
"C'mon, already Elias! You always do this. You spend 30 minutes looking at the menu, then choose a plain hotdog."
He looked at Charlie and smirked
I know, but maybe, just maybe one day I'll choose to add a topping.
He went back to the menu, but he only browsed a few more moments before being pelted with a hotdog, which he caught without looking
Thanks, Charlie.
"Wha-? How do you always do that? You weren't even looking!
Lucky I guess?
He began to walk away, an angry Charlie mumbling obscenities
As he walked and ate, Elias took in the sounds and sights: The hover cars on the ground and overhead, the yelling that would seem to always be common in NYC, and even the occasional hobo, begging for a donation for his habit
But he enjoyed it, and would not trade it for anything else

Evelyn Okura I was walking around the crowds- I bumped into a guy (your character). "Oh sorry", I said.
-
He dropped his frank on the ground Ah, dammit. Charlie probably won't give me another one today. He sighs Still not always working, Eh? He says to himself, and taps his temple, before realizing she is staring Oh, sorry. Wasn't paying attention.
-
"No it's cool, I apologize here let me buy you another", Evelyn said.

-
Uh.. Thanks. He takes the frank, and bites So, you a guest, or a resident? Cause the way you bumped into me, then apologized, tells me guest.

"I'm actually from San Francisco....but I go to school here in the East Coast".
-
Ah, I see. College student, Eh? I'm this City? Personally, this isn't a place known for its "wholesome education" but to each his own. I'm not familiar with any school in Manhattan though.
-
"I actually go to school in Connecticut, Yale," I said as humbly as possible. "Not too far from here", I said.
-
A Ivy League scholar aswell? What a charmer you are. He smirks My family isn't what you'd call.... normal. Schools aren't really our strong suit.

-
He starts to rub the back of his head Odd jobs. You know, a delivery here, some lifting there. Trying to find a more stable source of income though. Can't live in Frank's forever.
-
"Law enforcement"? I asked curiously.
-
Law? Heh. We've never been known to be on the right side of the law, especially my cousin.
-
"You should try it out, helping a community and keeping the people safe- who wouldn't want that in their list of things to do"?
-
Eh.... It does seem suited towards me... I guess I'll give it a shot. Can't hurt to atleast try it out.

Evelyn is then bumped into by a familiar face. It was Sam. She didn't seem to have aged since you last saw her
-
What the....she's that...one crazy chick. It felt like I saw a ghost, but I turned my attention back to the man I was speaking to.
-
Before you turned back to the man you noticed Eva standing next you her they both glance at you and keep walking. Eva hadn't seemed to have aged either
