I have to agree with this. The sole purpose of any business, company, corporation, etc. is the business of making money. Money to operate, money to pay employees, offer medical, money to create additional content, and above all to make a profit.
You support a game that you like, flaws and all, because you have fun playing it. Whether it's $20 for a 'once every 4 month dlc' or microtransactions that you are not being forced into buying, a player chooses to support whomever they please.
It's OK that you don't agree with the system. I'm sure you aren't the only one OP. But, this seems to be a much more sustainable systems than the monolithic releases of last year, and everyone gets to enjoy the events now, not just those pay forward for extra content.

I haven't seen any swindling here. They provide something in return for the silver you spend. Whether you think the value is equal to what they're charging is irrelevant.
