Amazing how fast they put out a patch late at night to fix their wallet yet still screw over thousands of players with broken game mechanics. Hell, since TTK released the raid has had multiple bugs yet they go unfixed. Bungie in danger of losing some 10 dollar sales on their TWO MAP, ONE MODE "FREE EVENT"? patch overnight.
If you still support them after this you're nothing but a silver sucking desticle.
EDIT: let's see you defend bungie now, children. Cosmetics only, right guys? Paying for free dlc, right guys? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shout out to people who waited months to get all 50 fragments and only got a timegated shader LOL

Not only a Desticle...Im the club president

Edited by Wertads jr: 12/10/2015 10:02:48 PMThe weapon patch intrigued me but not enough to come back. I come on a few times a week to see how the forums and game is dying and this post made me laugh so I had to comment. I do agree this game was fun then went really shit really fast lol. True they are money hungry pond scum. And everyone is defending it to boot. Makes me sick. All the sheep can't see the relation to how fast they fix a money leak hahahaha

Edited by GrundleBeans: 12/10/2015 9:59:18 PMI don't feel screwed at all. You know what would REALLY make me feel screwed? If I spend any money at all and then watched Bungie ignore other people steal the same thing for free when they could fix it easier and faster than an all-encompassing game mechanic. Speak for yourself.

Consider this...the book glitch was probably a few lines of screwed up code that wouldn't have any impact on anything else in the game. When you have, as you say, a "game-breaking" glitch, Bungie has to first investigate the majorly screwed up code, figure out how to fix it in a way that won't mess up anything else, and then play test it to make sure it doesn't -blam!- anything up. You throw in a quick half ass patch on the heavy ammo glitch and it causes glitches to where people are getting double heavy or no heavy or whatever. It takes time to investigate game-breaking glitches because there is game-breaking code that has to be rewritten and fixed without -blam!-ing anything else up along the way.
-
You only now realize this?
-
Failure. Book was a drastic bug. Thorn was a balance issue. Totally different.
-
You sir are an idiot.
-
Just remember what the best guy LUKE SMITH said they will throw money at the screen.
-
Whenever I see a thread like this on an internet forum, I hear a line from the old 1986 animated Transformers movie. "You're an idiot, Starscream."
-
Sigh. They left the meta the way it was for so long because they were trying to get their range system to work properly. Once they had it worming it allowed them to individually tune weapon range to actually make the range stat matter.
-
Did you think bungie was a charity? They're in business to make money, child
-
I don't think that is true, Destiny has be broken since day one.
-
I feel for the multitudes of players who need Bungie to "care" about them. Goodness gracious, you've sunk hundreds of hours into the game....if you are no longer amused then do something else! Jaded player is jaded! *SIGH*
-
Name one business that doesn't care about money. I'll wait.
-
They would have been in danger of getting sued probably. No one can sue over thorn
-
Trueereee
-
Thorn was not broke and did not affect a thing outside of the game, the book did
-
You not being able to complete the raid does not make it a bug. This game is fine, its whiners like you that are why this community is always at each others throats.
-
Terrible comparison. Not even close.
-
I love this
-
Thorn was never broken it was nerfed because of little cry baby kids like yourself.
