But it is gambling IMO.. Look at the old cigar gambling machines.. Pay 5¢, spin the wheel.. You may get one cigar as guaranteed, but you may get 2 or 3.. And that was considered gambling and then outlawed..
Either way.. RNG for real money is absurd. There's nothing wrong with buying emotes as singles or as a pack. But RNG is just greedy.

It's more of the idea behind it, rather than what the item is in question. But I realize this is a grey area in video games or games in general. The "claw arcade game" is considered a game of "skill" with a possible return of a random cash value so to speak.. while slot machines are a game of chance with a possibility of a cash return. But I think we can all agree that paying real money for a chance to get an item based on RNG is just silly. Well, to me at least.
