No. Instanced MMOs place people in the "open world" by design, not by choice - that very fact is what makes them an MMO, the lack of choice in who is sharing your world. They don't need to be in a party. That would be Diablo 3, where only people that [b]choose[/b] to join [b]you[/b] show in your world.
Again, educate yourself. [b]Guild Wars[/b] is an MMO that does this exact thing. Social spaces. Missions exclusive to you. Open world "patrols" where other players exist outside of your party, sharing the instance.
