I made a post about this a while ago. The one thing you guys have to understand about them leaving legendary weapons and armor behind is that we would literally not have the space for them anyway. I struggle as it is currently and i've deleted a lot of my year 1 stuff. I continually fill my poster master and have to take the time to clear it out.
Leaving exotics behind though i think was a huge problem and its great that bungie is releasing them over time, but bungie is treating em like new content, which annoys the hell out of me, but it doesnt surprise me.

Only stuff I have from year 1 is my VoG weapons, I will never discard them

I still have loads of stuff from y1. I delete most of my y2 stuff with the exception of weapons with great rolls.

Every year one stuff on my inventory is gun. We can buy it all back anyways if needed.

What do you mean? You mean exotic guns?

Yeah exotic we can buy back. Legendary i deleted them all too, bad move maybe but game progresses man and old guns were good but in trials and Iron banner can't do harm anymore. At least not hit hard as new guns do.
