That was for year 1. It's year 2 now. Stop living in the past.

Why bother working on year 2 gear when we won't be able to use it in year 3? Based on bungle's previous actions, this is exactly what will happen.
-
So what? I won't want to use year 2 weapons in year 3.
-
Yea but why would you want to use the same guns for 3 years? That sounds aweful
-
This happens in every game of this kind. For reasonable reasons too.
-
Perchance you could explain what those reasonable reasons are? Try not to fall back on "people want new things" because if that were universally true, this topic would not exist.
-
Of coruse there's always gonna be this argument. This isn't the majority of the community either. But yes that's the general reason. Imagine if with every DLC and major update you had the same load out each and every time. You would never change.
-
"You would never change." So? Why should I have to change to experience new content? So what if I tackle the new raid with the same guns I used in the previous one? So what if I use the same armor I used in Year 1 to experience Year 3 content? I'll help you out here with the sad truth: The reason you must change is because there's so little content the only thing to do is chase gear. Ironic isn't it - that they are so focused on making you chase new gear that they invalided both previous raids and a slew of other content. If they would focus on the content and not the gear chasing, we'd be running cross country instead of on a treadmill.
-
If that's the supposed flaw you wanna use then the same could be said about every other game. I personally would get tired of using VoC for the next few years and I'd stick to it because really there's no other reason to use other guns. In terms of content, the content is definitely enough if it's been able to hold the attention of so many people for this long.
-
You should use the weapons you like, and enjoy the experience. Not be forced to use guns you don't like because they have a higher number than the others you have.

Edited by LighterThanSome: 12/4/2015 1:31:35 AMThat's what some people in this community think. Is it best? Probably not. I'm certainly not forced to use guns at the moment. If we still had Y1 weapons I'd say different.
-
Cool story bro. That's one reason we're leaving. I'd rather play a game that isn't a giant slot machine that resets every year.
-
We're? I think I see the real issue. I'll repeat what I've always said. Destiny isn't gonna die anytime soon if that's what you're hoping for.
-
Maybe if the present wasn't a bigger pile of shit than Fant4stic.
-
Claim the game is shit but you still hang around the forums? I wonder what it's like to be addicted...lol
-
The forums are better than the game. I don't hate the game, rather I hate the game's current state.
-
These forums are shit. Nerf this, nerf that, timegated blah blah blah, I want my Ghallarhorn, I want new content, I want old content back, Destiny is dead, rate my hunter, best 100 yard stare on my warlock, etc. Rarely any useful information anymore. Just complaining...and more complaining about complaining. :)
-
If the forums are better than the game, and the forums suck, then the game must be absolute shite.
-
Must be...yet you still can't seem to disappear from the community. Addicted? Denial? What keeps you on these shit forums to talk about a shitty game??
-
It's entertaining to watch people lose their shit.
-
Wouldn't you rather be playing another game? Or maybe join a forum for something that you're interested in?
-
I'm interested in how stupid some players can really be. I'm also interested in how royally Bungie is -blam!-ing up this game. And playing videogames is so easy when you're in college (I don't play the garbage that is mobile gaming) or when you're about to go to sleep.
