Bungie Weekly Update 12/04/2014:
"In the months to come, your quest to become more powerful will have more avenues that lead to satisfaction. The last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete. Since the reveal, we’ve read a lot of ideas for how this could have been done better. Your feedback is clear: The time you have invested in your stuff should be respected."

Wow. A trending post on this topic. I posted something similar a few weeks before TTK came out, had the most replies that day by far, but amazingly, it didn't trend. It was like magic. I wonder if the magic is wearing off. But, I'm not gonna complain now. I'm getting my Mida. I'm happy this week. Next week I'll be pissed about my VoC, Oversoul, and my Epilogue (I liked it) along with many others (never got the Fatebringer). But for now, I'm getting my Mida.

I was happy with bungies decision to drop year one weapons before TTK actually dropped. Their reasoning that they didn't want people to still be falling back on fatebringer/VoC, blackhammer/icebreaker, and gjallahorn made a lot of semse. Now, not so much. 90% of the new weapons are just so infuriatingly underwhelming, that people are still only using 2-3 weapons per class. Now its hung jury/ smite, spindle/ 1000 yard/eirenne, and sword/quillims. These new top tier weapons would still compete with year one weapons if they were brought forward and would actually give us more of a choice, not less.

Bump But don't Activision. I was think they are the main source of all the scandalous marketing jumbo with Destiny.
-
How about the lie they told right before ttk launched. It went something like this "we want there to be less of a grind to obtain gear and level them up in year 2". This is why I haven't spent a dime of my own money on any of the dlcs and I never will. I found 40 bucks to get the first two and a friend told me I had to play ttk that it was soooo good and bought it for me. Yeah... even he doesnt play anymore.
-
I still dont understand how people are so against the option to use all gear at the highest level. HoW endgame load outs were capable of being massively diverse, and if that diversity was still as obtainable there would most likely be more people on board with Destiny. Options have never been a bad thing.

Oh look, more whinging...

Bungie will never reply to this thread
-
guys, each expansion is different. why does everyone keep hanging on this little sentence
-
Should bring all raid weapons up to y2 just remove element damage
-
One of numerous lies Bungie has told us.
-
Bungie doesnt know what they want to do with this game
-
I remember reading that and thinking, "this game is going to be awesome in a few years when there are insane amounts of weapons and armor to equip." Then they took back their words and never even commented on the fact that they made this statement.
Shit like that is why I hate Bungie, but I keep giving them a chance for some reason...
Bump #DestinyisDead
-
They are saying anything to keep people attached to this game. Just look at todays update. All that was said was how "Titanic" this update is only to announce an update, "That may change" WTF!!!! LMAO!

I agree that it is a little annoying that I can't use Fatebringer effectively anymore.... BUT this post was in reference to jump from Year 1's The Dark Below Expansion to Year 1's House of Wolves Expansion. That statement is not applicable to destiny in its current state. Sadly..... :(

Orly?

Ironically, they did the thing with exotics that they said they wouldn't do. Which is probably where more people should be upset.
-
I think they were just referring to Destiny 1.0..
